I had dealt with trane tracer before . And I think they are better and easier to work with if you have the PC software. Remember there's a bunch of sensors , smog detectors, dampers and valves feedback, that only the PC will give you access to. For equipment status, and alarms activity, PC software is better.
You dont really need the computer to do everything. I’m a Trane APS contractor partner and work exclusively on Trane units/controls/BAS. You can even do binary output programming thru display. I can answer any questions you may have. Good luck
Just 7? I came across one today for the first time and it was a new tenant. I felt hosed because nothing I was trying was working and Trane basically discontinued their tech support it seems. I might just be ignorant tho. Thanks for responding dude!
I have no clue man...they're all setup to whatever the people wanted the password to be..call trane and have someone come out...pay them the 200/hr and learn something then next time you'll know 🤟🏼😈🤟🏼
