Just keep getting better & stronger for yourself, the people who wanna see you succeed, and to show up the people who thought you couldn't do it.
From having bulimia, a cocaine addiction and being an alcoholic to still being a great musician. Went to rehab when his depression wasn't getting any better. Elton John is a TRUE SURVIVOR

Both my biological parents left me when I was younger and chose drugs and alcohol over me. Thankfully, I was adopted by my grandparents. This song really helps me realize that at the end of the day, knowing my parents don’t care for me, or love me, that I’m still standing. And I will not sit down to make them happy.

Doctors gave my uncle 2 months to live after finding stage 4 cancer in him (forget where, it was real bad though). That was 3 years ago, and he is now happily seeing his 2 children through college.

It was also in the Jukebox at the Star of Brighton Pub where I spent some of the best times of my young life being only 18 years old. To this day, whenever I here this song, I am instantly transported back to the magical time in my life. Its such a happy and hopeful song. Thanks Elton!
