When you said she was judge, jury, and executioner I imagined that she literally was all three and personally gave the sentence and then put the mask on and chopped off their heads in front of the whole kingdom and that's just how it works there. "Off with their heads!!"
Reminds of a movie I watched about an artist, something keen I think, and in one seen the artist was in court with her husband because he was stealing her paintings and profiting from them ad at some point the husband's lawyer leaves and the judge ask if he wants another lawyer but he refuses and says he'll do it himself. He then proceeds to go back in forth between sitting in his spot and the lawyer's

Waffles you should try the album cover challenge! I saw LavenderTowne doing it and it looked really fun! Basically you take ur favorite playlist and press shuffle and you draw the album of whatever it chose. Love ur videos!

Honestly, she kind of looks like Anne Boleyn, Henry's second wife that he separated from the Catholic Church and created his own church for. Imagine the alternate universe where she was actually a conniving, charismatic tyrant who got Henry executed and declared herself the Queen of England and went on to have six more husbands. XD

I signed up for ArtSnacks about 3 months ago because I kept seeing it on your channel and I definitely was NOT disappointed! My October box had the same ink but in like a fluorescent red/orange and the paint marker was gold metallicâšI ended up getting more of that same brand of paint markers because I liked that one from the ArtSnacks box so much đ

Your queen character seems like she is performing Shakespeare's play Hamlet. The way she looks at the skull sitting on her hand makes me think she would say "To be, or not to be. That is the question."

Why did I immediately think of poppy playtime as soon as I saw "to be, or not to be. That is the question"
Since this paper is 100% cotton I wouldn't recommend using Alcohol markers on it, because Cotton paper is very absorbent and your markers will use up a lot more ink. But I love your drawing!

Every Saturday morning when Waffle uploads, I get so inspired and all I want to do is art! BUT I have soooo many other things I need to do. So I tell myself, "If you get everything else done, then you can reward yourself with time for art." But by that time I'm so drained and tired I don't feel like doing it anymore. Just for today, I think I might skip the chores and save them for tomorrow and focus on some art. I could really use a little relaxing ME time. Kiddos are at friend's houses. It's just me and my hubby. He is going to make an easel for me so I can paint outside đđđ I'm so excited!
She's got a very, Queen of Hearts from Alice in wonderland vibe, especially with the skulls since she's famous for screaming "Off with their heads!" I imagine she likes to keep the skulls as maybe trophies or reminders to others to obey her. Absolutely love it, great job!!

I understand how you feel... I am feeling lonely too. Because I am a high-risk person, I have not been able to see friends, family, go to church, go out to eat, go to the movies, and a bunch of other stuff. All I do is go to work, the grocery store, and come home.
As everyone else has said, just keep your head up and remember this won't last long. It will eventually end.
Try this... Just send people a text to say have a great day. You don't know how much that will make people feel loved and know that you're thinking about them. Small gestures make a big difference.
Hugs... It'll get better sooner than later.

One of the many reasons I stopped getting Artsnacks, is the supplies rarely work together well. I swear each box is "curated" by whatever they managed to get on sale.
Love this! I learned recently tho that slimmer dresses represent more maturity and I think the poofy sleeves would've added a cool contrast to a slimmer bottom part of the dress :D
That would have been cool but since the character is a queen in medieval times, it had to have a pouffier dress
