CAT (Common Admission Test) 2003The CAT exam, which is a gateway to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), faced a major leak scandal in 2003. The incident led to the arrest of several individuals involved in leaking and selling the question papers. This happened during the Congress-led UPA I government.6. AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) Leak (2015)Although technically occurring after the Congress-led UPA government, the groundwork for the 2015 AIPMT exam, which faced a significant leak, was laid during the UPA tenure. The Supreme Court had to intervene, and the exam was re-conducted due to the scale of the leak.These incidents highlight the challenges in maintaining the integrity of competitive examinations in India. Each of these leaks not only caused distress to students but also prompted reforms and stricter measures to prevent future occurrences.
