As a dropper to iit hyd mechanical branch if you learn the concepts practice atleast 50 MCQ,solve pyqs and give the mock test regularly u can get into iit or nit 💯 💯 percent

I would suggest Cengage is better.
Reason: Detailed Theory + lots of practice Questions of different verity.

Honestly if maths itself so many books then there is physics n chemistry...when will u finish these? 2 years not sufficient....so to finish these u will have finish class 10 syllabus by class 6 or 7 and from class 8 start with these books....u might crack IIT but in the process u would ve killed uor childhood n creativity......IITs is not meant for the little above average , but very very high IQ students only....infact the top 1000 ranks no doubt study hard but not like 24x7....they are gifted to very quickly problem solve

I think rd sharma then rd objective and then pratice it twice and do jee main questions ... After that 39 years because that book is topicwise ... After that revise.... Then u have a good level ...and after that use arihant series for mains and advance just for solving all problems from exercise not learning from that .. practice yourself as problem solving ...... Apply this formula you definitely got good marks in jee main and also in advance ... Keep in mind if you are not able to solve all thing that i mentioned due ti any reason like time constraint ... Then go only for mains and secure a good marks in iit mains and get best nits ... Again if you are not able to solve mains books then go for cbse boards and solve ncert , ncert exampler and rd sharma ... Get good marks in boards then take a drop and do books for mains and advance based on your capacities ... And again in drop year you don't able to solve books , then do those books twice , thrice that i mentioned in cbse and do some previous year questions paper you definitely got good marks in mains ....i think if you do these things properly you got atleast 60/120 in maths thats a good marks in mains ... And go for other two subjects . To secure good rank in iit mains.. Best of luck...
