- Audrey was going to see her twin during April but COVID-19 put and end to that. Today she left to see her sister for a week. . Just having a few sad moments about saying goodbye.

It must be reassuring to Audrey, to know that there’s this one person in the world who shares 100 percent of her blood and womb history only they and God can feel. For both of them to have these parents that have done the impossible and maybe the complicated parts of it, just so they can simply see eachothers smiles, hear eachothers laughters, and keep making their bond stronger every time they hug. Maybe things feel overwhelming to you and her family at times but the stories they will pass on to their own kids will start with “Grandma loved me so much she did this and that to make me feel complete and have even more people love me” 🥹 so thank you and your husband and Gracie’s parents for allowing their story to be broadcasted. They are a pure joy to watch! ❤

It's a tough one Jen. For both families there are no doubt feelings that the other identical twin should also be my daughter because sisters are surely my daughters. And I'm sure there are a whole host of other mixed feelings and frustrations. However the girls really love each other and that is a blessing! Many families have members that just don't get on. Your daughter is a testament to your success as a parent. You've done a great job. I think both girls are very lucky and both families have been rewarded with great girls. Your emotions point directly to your love of Audrey and you will be so happy for her latest adventures with Gracie. She'll be back soon))

I watched your story on GMA some years ago and thought it was beautiful to see. So many people were saying one family should move to live near the other but it is a very complicated and unique situation, with so many other factors involved. Nobody has the right to judge you or the other family and I am in total agreement with what you had to say here. You do what works for both of your families and it is nobody else's business. I am, however, glad the girls can be in touch with each other and it's great that you do your best to accomodate that.

Thank you for saying this. We has a situation only. presented to around 20 know families in the world of Chinese adoptees. Each family, each child, each situation is different so you are left to navigate through unchartered waters really. They have all have siblings but now they have a blood relative but sometimes it is hard for people to understand that blood does not trump all.

I've commented on a couple of your videos and am so glad I am able to follow your CZcams. Let me start off by saying: You are an amazing mother! Audrey and her twin both lucked out on getting outstanding families!
I can't imagine what both families go through. It's sure been quite the journey! I cried when I saw the twins meet for the first time. I, myself, was adopted at 2 months old with my twin sister, and we were able to grow up together. I'm so glad they got to meet when they were young and make so many memories together and create such a special bond! I couldn't imagine having been separated from my twin sister.

I think it's really you will be repaid 10fold. You can tell they love each other so much and you are fostering love between them. I know it's hard, but It's also amazing. I know we don't see what all goes on behind closed doors. However, we all have stuff we deal with behind closed doors. The most important thing is their happiness. I know someone's persona online and in interviews can be misconstrued but from that very first interview on GMA and the second one without your husband, I just knew you were a good person and a great mom. You're moving mountains with the situation that was thrown at you and I'm so so so happy for both families to have new opportunities and for the twins to have their connection. If they want to live in the same town as adults, hats off to them. They have their whole lives to be near each other so don't beat yourself up!

Audrey is doing great. She has a pulmonary stent as well so yes that counts! Never fun having a procedure. I agree that I am glad they are just a flight away!

Had Gracie flown to your all's home yet? If I'm not mistaken, Audrey went there for Christmas and now, correct? It's amazing how you found your daughter's twin! You're an angel for that! Audrey has traveled to see Gracie about 5x at least. She has enjoyed attended Church camp and meeting all their family. Gracie has been here 3 times but don't know when she would come back.
I'm so happy they get to see each other. It's tough for me too. I have a sister who lives in Alabama and she and her wife just had my nephew in March. My trip to visit him in June got cancelled.

Hope your family and Gracie family can let the twin learn their own language Chinese to remember their own heritage and culture,one day they might want to visit and see their birth place,I wish they can visit their birth place as well,being Audrey and Gracie fans I feel happy and will always support them,You are also a great mum to Gracie,When I watch video some twin decided to go and find there birth mother and meet them,I am sure one day you will search their birth mother so Audrey and Gracie can meet them and get to know them better
Audrey took Mandarin for several years but has really enjoyed German over the last 3 years and is quite good. Her brother is fluent so it is fun to see them talk together.
