Hi there Sifu! Greeting from Australia! I'm very impressed with your videos, the technique & humility displayed in each video. I have been a practicing Wing Chun student, in Holland Park, Brisbane Australia for a few years now. It is nice to see some decent Wing Chun being produced on the internet, as it is very far & few!

Not sure if it would really help unless the WC guy is cornered.
I would actually love to see some kind of bo staff combination and not just the pole ...

@@ASDREX458 You should look at European quarterstaff techniques, it's essentially the same thing as this one (long staff, holding it at the end instead of the middle, mainly attacking with thrusts)
I can't say anything for Chinese wing chun staffs but European quarterstaffs were deadly in open spaces, there was a story about how an Englishmen defeated three Spaniards wielding swords with only a quarterstaff, killing one and injuring the rest.

This form is absolutely amazing! Plus I think it's not too hard to learn! But I't pretty complicated to have the same power from the bottom to the top of the staff, I assume.

I have enjoyed your past videos and wonder if you teach Wing Chun or Choy Li Fut privately or at a school? And where are you located? I'm in South Florida USA.

I like how the primary, obvious attack is the thrust with other movements being more like blocks/parries. It makes sense considering how the tip would be the point that carries the most force directed at a singular point. Though, I'm ignorant so please correct me if I've made any wrong assumption with that.
