Today I talk about something I'm very proud of, which is all the 100% games I've gotten while achievement hunting. Achievement hunting is fun but is no joke. I've become addicted to the gamerscore dopamine. There's no getting me out of the xbox ecosystem. Steve Ballmer has my family and won't release them until I hit 1 million gamer points. Please help me by liking the video so I can make money and buy the new Peppa Pig game that lets you get 1000/1000 in under an hour. PLEASE I JUST WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN! Also go Clippers (Steve made me write this part).

I got 7 day survivor years ago when I was very feverishly sick. All I remember was that I spent a lot of time on a ledge and would intermittently eat food in game then pass out in real life and I would set an alarm to try and make sure I was conscious to fight bosses. So I really don't remember much of anything, it's all one big blur. So I enjoy listening to others memory of it. Great video.

I heard that as long as you meet a player with the achievement, that works too. Still pretty tough.

It depends on the game. Some can be fun and enhance the experience but others are long and boring. In the end, most Achievements/Trophies are pointless and designed for people that have a lot of free time, OCD and/or addictive personality. They ruined gaming for a lot of old school players who don’t want to read a guide before playing a game or follow a dumb list to complete a bunch of meaningless list of tasks.
@@thatoneginger6480 false. Everything is good in moderation, even achievement hunting. We don't rush through games. If a singeplayer game takes me 3 months to finish... so be it. It's not about the destination, it's about the adventure
Man, I'm a trophy hunter with a 94.90% completion. But man, I sometimes feel like I'm obsessed; like, when there are collectables trophies I stop playing for a second when find a collectable to write it down for when I finish the main story don't get lost finding the rest. I feel like I'm playing just to get the trophies, but I don't know if I truly am. I enjoy the game, I enjoy grinding/competing tasks but I spend so many hours hunting trophies.
What the hell is wrong with my head right now?
My achievement hunting started for a pretty silly reason. When I was younger back on the 360 I liked getting achievements to see what the picture was when it wasn't locked anymore lol. Somewhere down the line it'd turn into just being a completionist in general. Even though they don't really mean anything in the real world they are things that I tend to be genuinely proud of and there's such a good feeling there when you finally complete some of those harder ones.

A decade ago I stopped grinding achievements, a year ago I started streaming and was reminded how great achievements are, and.. You know dude, after binging your videos you inspired me to get back into achievement hunting. Thanks man, I look forward to more of your content!!
I've 100% completed Fallout 3 on 4 separate occasions. I feel like I replay it once every couple of years. Easily my favorite game of all time. Same for Bioshock 1.

Dead Space 2 is definitely impressive, such a brutal game to 100%
Yeah that Hardcore mess is a legit pain. Especially getting to the final part where you have to keep from being hit by stuff getting onto the ship, I lost a controller in 2014 because of that part alone, and being sent back to like chapter 7 cause there is only 3 saves. I still don't have that one achievement and I have not gone back and tried again since then.
It was pretty easy so was the 1st and 3rd game

You should definitley do more videos like this :) I would love to see a video on games you had the most challenge getting 100%, whether it was based on time consumption, skill level etc
Great video, Snamwiches! This is the best part of the Achievement hunting community: hearing other players sharing their memories and experiences. So much fun to relate to and also discover new games.
I started achievement hunting funnily enough as another option to speedrunning. I was losing my mind over grinding times and wanted to add a unique challenge to each game. I completely agree with your thoughts for Resident Evil, the challenge runs especially knife only, no healing etc have been such a joy to learn and keeps the game fresh and interesting.

I’m closing in on 260k. My favorite game to 100% was Yakuza LAD. That true final millennium tower was a grind but easily my proudest achievement. The best part about achievement/trophy hunting is the community is very supportive and I rarely ever see people console warring because they’re too busy enjoying games.

Also I can't help but appreciate the fact that I hunt trophies, and not achievements. Since the PS trophies for games like Hollow Knight don't require you to speed run the game and play on permadeath, so basically I respect the hell out of you for actually doing those achievements lol.

7 day survivor is definitely one of the hardest achievements I've gotten. Hard part is the waiting you had to do until Frank was at his absolute last bar of health to finally eat. You can easily forgot how much time has passed while looking away from the screen while waiting only for Frank to starve and die...😅. I remember setting up alarms to prevent that.
This is honestly impressive. I do PlayStation but I feel like Xbox has something going for it. I watch and I feel like you would connect with a streamer called RayNarvaezJr. That guy has 2.5 million gamer score! I feel like you two would hit it off on that topic

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to achievement hunting so I want to try and get every single one possible. Sadly that means I need to 100% 200+ games lol

I've had Xbox Live for 19 years at this point, since before achievements were even a thing. I used to go hard for them back in the Xbox 360 Days when it was like a race against your friends to have the highest score, or a badge of honor to have the crazy hard ones that your friends didn't have. I've fallen off HARD from the grind, lol .. I've probably only gotten a few thousand points in the last few years, but at this point I don't really have the motivation (and time) to really keep it up, but I love these videos, it takes me back to a time when I would spend all day trying to get 20 imaginary score points on games like Dead Rising. Keep up the hustle man, you're doing a great job with these videos!
@Brian O For sure, man.. I met so many cool people in the Halo 2 and 3 days on Xbox Live. Once they introduced the private chat lobbies it seemed to kill that pretty quickly.

I remember getting a 360 and not noticing the cheevos popping out. Gun was my first game and once I knew what they were, I was hooked! Just Cause was my first 1k!!! I was once ranked number 14 in Texas on the achievements leaderboard, but fell off cuz of family and life. I’m really impressed with your list… bro dead space 2 and dead rising 100% for the win!!!

I'm still three achievements short on GUN because as one of the earliest games, difficulty achievements didn't stack, meaning you'd have to play through the entire game four times, once on easy, normal, hard and insane.

Oh there's way too many games I can relate to on this! I felt your pain boosting the Halo games before they shut down! Dead Space 2 Hard Core will stay with me for a long time, I'm pretty proud of that one too.
Cool to see another achievement Hunter, I have been 100 percenting every game I have and I recently found out it was impossible as one achivments didn't register when I got it and there is no way to reset the game so I can't get it, anyway love the content.

I'm also an "off and on" achievement hunter. There are times where I'll play the same handful of games all year and not make much progress, then there's times where I just get that itch and wanna grind old games or visit new ones. Especially with Game Pass. I'm sitting at just under 14k for this month, which funny enough last October was my best month ever with over 40k. It's kind of addicting once you get some momentum. I've enjoyed watching your vids since I found you a few days ago.
i think one of my proudest moment in trophy hunting was getting the platinums for the arkham games (ps3 and ps4 versions) and getting the platinum for FF7R. I always try to get platinum's when i really love a game but there are few games id probably get the platinum again if given the chance to.
I was so depressed back when the Xbox one came out, lost my original account from the day 360 came out. I had over 150k gamerscore, and I would have about 500k today if I never lost my original account. But I’ve always wanted to be a content creator, and I think I’m going to make a channel that’s dedicated to achievement and trophy hunting. Nobody has a channel dedicated to that specifically, so might be a niche that hopefully gets me known, and people will enjoy watching. Seems that you’ve had some good content with it so, happy to join the achievement hunting side of content creating.
I recently reached 400k recently myself and have been doing it on and off for about 14 years. We have very similar Gamerscore histories. Although Gamerscore itself has taken a hit dude to developers essentially selling Gamsercore (see Ratalaika Games), there is still very few things in gaming, that I enjoy doing more than getting all the achievements for a game.

I also did super Lucky's tale as well the first and the remake and that boxing ring gauntlet I had done for the achievement twice and I was about ready to snap my controller but I did it and it felt good beating iy

Wow, that's an impressive list! I don't always go for full completion, but a lot of times you realize half-way through a game that it is actually possibly. I ended up completing The Outer Worlds although it was not my initial intention. Also did a speedrun to unlock the Supernova achievement which was a first for me!
Dead Space 2 platinum is my most proud one. For the record, the Hardcore mode is a combination of the hardest difficulty and second hardest. The scarcity of items and meager ammo drops are Zealot level, which is the hardest. But the combat difficulty, how much damage done to you and by you, is Survivalist, the second hardest difficulty.
Many players prepare for a Hardcore run by playing Zealot difficulty. You get a feel for what you can do within the scope of the scarce resources. And can develop combat strategies that can handle even tougher competition.
Harm's Way is one of my all-time favorite co-op games. I miss that game so much
hey congratz, im currently working on my 1532th game i hit 1500 2 months ago. i've been platinum trophy hunting the day sony made trophies a thing on PS3 back in 2008, my most prestigious platinum is Warhawk on the PS3 took me 4 years to complete and started working on it even harder when they announced they were taking down the servers, now making the game a impossible completion
Dead Space 2 is a Great Game and that’s an impressive achievement and hollow knight too and Alan Wake is an Underrated Game and I’m Excited For Alan Wake 2
I like some trophy hunting, but only for games i really love and just when the achievements mean something. If I feel like I'm "working", I pass. So when I unlocked all trophies/achievements for a game, it really means that I really enjoyed it.

I remember trying to 100% everything possible on my list for ps3/4 but when I started neglecting things in real life i had to stop. If you can make money in real life playing games and such then more power to you for anybody else out there remember it’s just a game and an achievement nothing more….
For AC Ezio Collection did you by any chance have any problems with achievements not unlocking, I didn't get the "an old friend returns" one and really don't want to play the game again tbh

Seven Day survivor was just really boring, especially the last 5 hours where you don't have to move much anymore.
I remember that Doritos game, every site was mentioning it as a free easy 1000 gamerscore. I jumped on it as well. I've since moved over to Playstation and trophies but I always prefered the ever growing single number over the disjointed numbers of different trophy tiers. Though the platinum trophy is better for showing ppl how many you completed overall as just saying you completed a game doesn't immediately say you got all gamerscore, especially for those that have 0 point achievements. Microsoft needs to implement some kind of extra achievement when you get them all with a separate number that shows up next to, or under, your gamerscore.

im proud of 100% the messenger...theres only one thats really frustrating and its the star messenger achievement. took me the longest but im proud of it..also re2 remake the gas station achievement i never thought id do it
Will you be only doing xbox achievements or would you consider getting a ps5, to play ps4/5 exclusives such as last of us, uncharted ect, I platinumed both last of us and part2 , last of us was fun to platinum as its such an amazing game I must of completed it like 12 times , part 2 permadeath was gruelling as I hated the story but loved the gameplay, but yeah part 1 my top game I've played.

Multiplayer achievements should have optional offline achievements for when the servers go down and for people who don't like multiplayer.

I remember hitting 10K gamerscore on Xbox games, and now having over 120K gamerscore it feels cool to look back at, how it’s steam hunting achievements

for me achievement hunting is only fun when you do it in games you wanted to play either way but i never play a game just for achievements. my favorite part is seeing the number go up as a reminder of the games you played
I had gamefly, it was lit! Games started to devalue to me at that point because I had all games at my fingertips. Worth it though, I was free to experiment with games I normally wouldn't consider. One cool game was Two Worlds 2. Good stuff!
I've been achievement hunting for 12 years. Some of my proudest 100%'s are Rare Replay, Catherine, Ninja Gaiden II, Binary Domain, and Grand Theft Auto 5 with all online achievements.

My Oblivion achievements are disappeared from my profile without any reason? Still got the gamerscore and they still unlock somehow but they are not visible for me :P
Hey Snam, I have the 360 version of dead rising 2 and will happily play it in co-op with you for that achievement. I know the pain of having one achievement left. The only potential issue is I live in the UK so different timezone l.

It's crazy that there still isn't a list of all your 100% games... Sure there's TA but it would be nice to be able to see them on the actual console.
I was trying to do Steel Soul in Hollow Knight. I lost a 100% run 14 hours in while about 15-20 minutes away from the end to chain explosions in the Infected Crossroads. I lost two previous runs around 2 hours and 7 hours, so that was anguishing.
The Godmaster stuff is insanely hard, though, requiring a lot of practice on so many different bosses. I beat some of the hardest Radiants, but I never even finished learning the Pure Vessel to beat him once. lol

Alright very weird question which should be straight forward but for me it isn’t: i have been trophy hunting on PlayStation for years. I have recently purchased a next gen Xbox for quality of life reasons since i couldn’t get my hands on a ps5. I am planning on buying a game but i don’t know if i should get it on ps4 to keep al my trophies/achievements in one place or buy them on my sparkly Xbox for that nice performance while doing it
Not weird at all! I think if I was in your position, I'd buy it on the next gen console. Especially if this is the console you'll primarily be using in the future. As long as it still feels rewarding completing your games (and you can still show them off lol) then I think having them in two places won't be too bad. Hope this helps with your decision!
Yeah i play both, if I’m playing alone i will always choose the Xbox. But some friends of mine still play on ps4 and while crossplay is a thing in most games the party feature is just nicer. So i use both regularly. But since it is a single player game i will be buying I’ve decided I’m getting it on my Xbox. Thanks for the help dude happy hunting!
Concerning the Perfection Medal in Halo 3. I actually got it for my friend on his account a couple years ago. I don't have a 100% for the trophies, but I do have the platinum trophy for Dead By Daylight and that's by far my proudest. That shit was fucking hard.

Rarest ones I have done are all ESO achievements, all GTA 5 achievements (doomsday mastermind included) and Black ops 3, Dark souls 1 and 2 I didn't find nearly as hard as some did but tons of fun
Also, you completed Guardians of the Galaxy. Was that an easy completion? Cause I have the game and have yet to play it for various reasons(all of them being I just haven't played it lol) Is it a good game?...
Yeah its pretty easy, just make sure you have a good collectables guide handy. I picked one that didnt have one of the types and got halfway through without realizing :/
