I had stripped mine same as you did, my front right was nice and loose but my front left felt secure, it really needed a bit of a 'light shake' to release it

On the passenger side can you show me how the wire harness that is under the splash dirt guard is supposed to go mine is out and idk where or how it goes back since I bought the car like that

My advice if your wanting to do your own vehicle maintenance is to do a mechanics course where you will learn all of the skills to be able to do these checks and carry out repairs in a professional manner. There are night course for people that have children or work commitments also. I wish you all the best.
