Dear Rami please understand that weather change plays a massive part in driving, snow and rain massively reduce traction making it more challenging to control your vehicle unless you modify a your car (think snow tires). Also having the environment change makes the cruising experience a lot more interesting which is the main draw of the Forza Horizon series.
Yup, it's basically a creative way to do a rotating map pool.
I absolutely understand that, and I'm a huge Forza Horizon fan (also: The Crew, also: Split/Second being one of my favorite games ever) - but it just didn't feel worth the 4 minutes of exposition. This could've been one really big, really cool shot - now it felt a bit dragged out, and made the game lose shine a bit.
Pacing is one of those arts that's super hard, and I think they missed the mark here. Game still looks great, and I'll definitely be playing it, and checking out those seasons, too.
Rami Ismail okay I understand what you were trying to say now, I thought you were coming from the angle of 'weather and seasons don't make any difference' but you were saying 'okay time to move on' it was a criticism of the showcase not the game itself.

I agree they spent way too much time on that, but on the other side, it's probably a really cool feature for hardcore fans of the franchise. I remember playing hundreds of hours of Burnout Paradise, and once I knew every corner of the map and the fastest route to get there it became very repetitive and tedious. Just having different seasons opening different paths and shortcuts is a big reason to keep coming back, which is also really important for a multiplayer game.
Just want to drop a note here, the panel was confused about Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass isn't a streaming service, but a subscription service where you get access to their games by paying a monthly fee -- you just download them and play them.

and everyone forgot to understand that the trailer was with ingame footage engine =( which is way more impresive
The Brush Effect want to point out that a lot of game trailers will have the "rendered in-engine" or "in-engine footage" but that does not mean it's how the game will look on launch. They can use the engine as a renderer and let it spend a lot more time rendering a single frame than you would when actually playing in real time. In addition to that they can also use crazy powerful machines that far outspec the average machines that gamers would have.
It is not entirely representative of how the game will look when we actually get to play it.
People who watched Cyberpunk 2077 say otherwise. In their opinion, and they saw full 50 minutes demo, game look almost like this in trailer with difference being make by cinematic camera cuts.
For anyone who, like JP, wants a breakdown of the Cyberpunk trailer, Adam Koebel did exactly that. For me, it's even one of the rec'd videos next to this one, so it should be easy enough to find. There's some DAMN good stuff lurking in the backgrounds of that video.

i love watching these E3 conference reaction videos, but i have to say: if someone is currently on-stage talking in depth about a game, and you are talking OVER them (especially if you're talking about how much you love said game series)... then you're fucking up.
I will never understand why people watch a video with people talking over E3 conferences to complain that there are people talking over the E3 conference...
Well there's nuance here too. Making a proper comment on something is different than repeating the same drivel over and over again on stuff that "you don't like". Also, multiple times during these conferences they have talked over stuff, not listened and then complained about the presenter not telling about something they literally missed because they were talking on top of them. Dropped Frames is normally very good and proper discussion about games and the industry. This did not reflect that at all.
It seems a part of this was the streaming problem that JP can hopefully fix for today. They couldn't see the other streamer and their streams were synched up, so people thought they could talk but for JP's stream it was already in a other trailer
Yes, that does have it's part to play in the timing of the comments, but not in the substance of them. But as a whole I agree, also Rami came in late and viewers were complaining about his volume being too loud compared to the stream and other speakers. Beware telling JP about that shit though or we'll get emote-only chat again. smh
FlySC19 It's more about people wanting to see their genuine thoughts and reactions to it, but that requires them to watch it in the first place and understand certain details they likely miss by talking over it. That is not to say people want them to stay completely silent, it really depends. Now I have not watched the entire video so I cannot really judge what has been the issue in this case.
It's like you want to show your friend a movie you really enjoyed and would be happy to see him like it as well. Turns out he brings his mobile phone and is typing and chatting half the time, I think that's about the kind of feeling people have. To a lesser extent of course, it's only through the internet after all.
I'll never understand the hate on racing games, some people enjoy driving, there isn't anything wrong with that, but most of you seem to think that it is...
I really like Rami on normal dropped frames, but I found him irritating on this. The delay didn't help him.
Meanwhile The Division was set in New York during a viral outbreak and in the dead of winter...It's supposed to be bleak! That's the point.

It was due to the fact that he relied on the stream, with the delay, so he was out of sync with the other guys, seems like. At least that's what he said. Not much of an excuse, though.
Whenever the Xbox stream had a voice, everyone else keep their statements to quick 3 word statements, but rami would slowly ramble words out endlessly. It is perfectly fine to talk over the stream when there isn't anyone on that stream already talking. You should always assume that the person that is on stage to announce something has something more important to say then you do.

I feel like the one thing that would make fake voip-over good is when they acknowledged it and made subtitles for them as well.

It's amazing how People don't get the Word "Exclusive" Sometimes, Ori was and is an Exclusive to Xbox, it's not on Playstation or Nintendo and never will be. So it is a Console Exclusive, and given PC uses Windows it is a Microsoft Exclusive.

Ori was an exclusive - to the extent microsoft has them - because ALL games on xbox are also on pc. They just are not on ps4.

Reading the comments on this is fun, there's almost a comment, for every person in the panel, saying that that particular person talks to much. In that case, I think a lot of people should look up the non-dropped frames version of the conferences and watch those instead. Try that :)

so ye basically everything Cohh said at the "final score" section is so true. I also watch these with 0 expectations bc u fking have to at this point on E3 cons. The blatant lies and deceiving words from the ppl talking on stage just nullify all the very well done footage/trailers they showed. These things have been actually unwatchable for years now were it not for streamers snarking the fk over them & the publishers (& major gaming companies) are so asking for it :P

Angarl that's because the theme for VTMB is a rip off of Massive Attack - Angel. It was used in development but the devs couldn't license it and asked their composer to just copy it!
the fact that the Mixer concurrent viewer total was 15k isn't actually that sad. Its the fact that EVP of Xbox was claiming that 20 million ppl would (be able to I guess) watch something on mixer and thats where the Twitch chat LOL's start ofc. I like how Rami brings the development view and is able to bring counter arguments to the dominant streamer/consumer views. Less circle jerking. But him being delayed by way more was problemetic and I for one was pretty hype for Forza horizon 4's season system (cause weather impact is so huge)
