As an IGL I get people hyped up, but I also shut down overhype. Just because a play works doesn’t mean it was good and I make that clear to my teammates.
@@felvlr yea , i tried being the hype man lately and it feel really good, because you hype your team up and seeing them becoming happy and confident will make YOU happy and confident especially when people start to hype eachother a bit

In my experiance all the lower ranks instalock the dualists then rush a site and freeze up before entry leaving myself to try and entry as Sage. If I kill everyone on site then they will enter. If I die then you can be sure I won't get traded and we lose the round. Thats how alot of my games go XD
@@anthonymous7191 Absolutely true, I was working hard to put up smoke and dashed in as Jett but no one followed me and I died rather quickly in vain. Solo que is like a lootbox, either you get shit teammate, or good teammate.
And here I am picking Sage and be Entry Fragger because no one in my team got the balls to enter the site
My worst pet peeve is when the raze or Reyna stays in the backline, waits for teammates to die, then gets 2 or 3 kills then dies. They can have the most kills but aren't really helping the team win
It's your job to wait, don't feel pressured to entry on sage. Wait for those dumbasses to move
the best part is that you have 4 duelist - I've often entries with a team with 3 duelists as a Cypher (my main)

Such a great video. The only thing that sucks in solo queue is when I try to entry frag and literally nobody pushes in with me. Even after I say let’s push in. They get scared and just keep hiding at the entrance until we get pinched 🤦🏾♂️
Happened to me just a few hours ago. I was playing Sova, I told the team to push after I clear the area with my drone, and then they just do some random stuff and get killed off, lol.
Same with me dude, when I entry frag then no one comes and I enter the site alone and dieeeeeeeeee
Meanwhile the role in low elo: esports coach(The Guy Who die first then tell everyone how to play even if he has no ideea about The game)
90% of my games have at least 1 or 2 12-year old kids who can’t make good judgement calls and won’t listen to the controllers. They usually entry frag the same spots and get picked first. Really frustrating because I’ve always been the guy who will play whatever role for the benefit of the team, even if that means bottom fragging

I had a Reyna on my team type in chat for me to “go in” while we were at the entry choke point....I was playing cypher...like dude, use ur fkin leer and then we go in maybe...?
My role is the stormtrooper: follows team leader's ideas but only sorta well, be cannon fodder/bait, shoot inconsistently, and make everyone else feel good about their skills compared to me. I main Killjoy but it doesn't always go well for me lmao
on attack im often anti flank, defense utility. Cypher is a fun character when his abilities are used correctly

I always end up holding flank as Reyna if 3 rounds in a row I dont have a second man

I tend to play either support or utility/control (both as brim main) and tbh as support I have found that brim beacon could be so powerful! cause it allows your entry fragger to be able to shoot more bullets to the enemy so they get killed faster.
Weird because I play Cypher and I’m usually force to play as the entry since our duelist ( reyna etc. ) won’t do it. ( scared to get pick ).

Duelists need to realize that it's basically theie JOB to get traded. It's better if our Jett dies early and gegs traded than our sage.

As a cypher main u can kinda peak with ur camera to figure out enemy positions but honestly it works less effectively than flashes but honestly, duelists plz entry the more time u waste the more time the enemy team had to rotate....
I'd say Omen is actually a top tier operator. His teleports allow him to safely hold off angles, and his smokes and blind allow him to control the flow of pushes and OP duels.
Philip Fahy he’s really good at lurking too, he can cross sightlines easily

Ehh where is Sova?
Support/Operator. You want to recon arrow for your teammates or get picks with it. You can also "entry frag" with the drone, let your teammate go for the duel and help him when the drone gets destroyed. On defense you want to do arrows that either reveal the enemy strategy or make sure that they won't push this site.
I personally find him to be the perfect second man agent, his arrows assist the entry fragger, his drone helps him push or the shocks can clear off angles, just make sure you don't fall too far behind so you can't trade
He's Support/Second Man
He’s a flex pick. His utility has a good balance on area denial, information gathering, picking potential that he can fit in pretty much any role necessary.
Thanks a ton for this. Just started yesterday and i mostly play by instinct, more reserved. I'm used to supporting, but I main viper and this gave me a better idea of what i should be doing for the team or to do better myself in gunfights and engagement. My playstyle is at the midpoint of flanker and utility despite viper being clearly utility. I try to use my wall for long supports or when we need a safer rotation, and i save my snakebite usually to deal with agressive fraggers or to cover their second man inevitably coming forward when one of my teammates gets the entry fragger. I love the ability to run in and out of smoke and also rig enemy smokes with my poison while im shotgunning on her, so here's to adding this knowledge to what i've been blindly doing. I hope to get a lot better in time!

Omen is a heavenly underated entryfragger.
Because he is better as a lurker or 2nd man, he can entry frag however he doesn’t have that kit, his ultimate is built for flanking and getting information
Omen can entry frag using smokes and tele to disrupt defenders . I always use omen. I like him entry, has blind, has blink and smoke..

My teammate cries when I dont have a lot of entry frags with raze. I feel like raze is more usefull mid to end of the round to stop the enemy planting or defusing. Im happy u put phoenix reyna breach and jett as top 4.
I mean you have doom bot to entry dragged which reveals positions which you can throw a granade and enter, so I would say if there is no Phoenix YOU should be the entry fragger but that’s just my opinion

Omen is a great combination of Operator, IGL, and Lurker, because his teleport allows him to gather info, surprise enemies after an OP pick from a new angle, and his ult allows him to make plays or just get immediate info.
I use him to entryfrag. Works great bc of his smokes flashes en tp.

Having an omen or brimstone who doesn't smokes and die instantly is a pain in the ass
I usually play brimstone because I like all the utility he offers and since I'm solo queueing I can smoke and entry frag. Since I placed the smokes I know exactly what angles are open. Then I play an aggressive defense hold the roams any time I'm not pushed.
What agents are best for the Lurker role?
Just to add, in reality, these can sorta be switched up changed around within a game, or even in a single round. Just because ur playing brimstone and have been setting up utility for executes, doesnt now make it illegal for u to now entry on site. Heck, phoenix can u even set u up with the flash instead, since that way the peek comes in faster.
My best pick is actually in game leader / utility. Using omen smoke to cover and blinding the enemies to push. Volume at 40% and I can hear all around me even the slightest sound like footstep mistake or dropping sound. From there I can do some crazy callouts to the team. But I'm not the best shooter though and have a pretty bad aim with avg k/d of 1:1

QUESTION: as an initiator (I prefer brimstone) on defense, how can I strike the best balance between using my utility to hold off pushes, and saving some utility to help my team in the retake?
All too often I find myself dropping smokes and holding off enemies during a push, only to be defeated on the retake when my team finally rotates, but has no cover from the takers holding oppressive angles on site.

I play a lot of role and main rayna I like to play sniper because I can frag a bit then it hit use the soul things and heal up or move making it easier to clutch up or run back etc

Buy op then point and click. If too many people cuz u too aggro then dash out. Use mobility to get off angles and surprise opponents by ur positioning. Smoke out stuff and los and make one ways

Reyna can dip after a kill like Jett, she makes a good OP too
Difference is that if Reyna misses, she’s dead. Jett however doesn’t have to hit a shot

i main omen and say we are playing ascent if we push a i usually smoke off rafters and tree to help my team push up without worrying about some angles what role do i play?
I play Viper, I'm a controller on offense, the third to go on site with the bomb to plant. I like to decide where we will plant if the push goes wrong, do I join my lurker or do I try to force the plant now that we know the enemies positions? That's the call I like to make to ensure the win. On defense I anchor one site and start flanking if they chose the other site to attack.
I'll flex when I have to, if I see no one's watching our back I will, if we are not pushing eventhough we have the timing and my execs on site I'll entry frag and If I have someone playing aggressive alone I'll try to second man him.

the worst part about solo q is usually you have one entry frag and the second man has no balls and doesn't cover the angles once the entry stats entering leading to the entry getting killed due to an off angle second mans supposed to cover that's why I switch from entry fragging because it felt like I had to kill literally everyone on/near the site or my team wouldn't go in the site with me

What I see very often as a low elo player is that entry fragger will slowly enter near one site, but don’t push. They will stand at corners and the next thing you realise as 2nd man, you will become the entry fragger and you died. What’s worse, that entry fragger will still be holding the angle without trading.
HENCE, I have learned that patience is a virtue and I will wait even if time runs out just so that the entry fragger does become the ENTRY fragger
well my question is what if an igl becomes the awper is it possible??

I play the operator almost every game. I also feel like I should be taking up the role of in game leader but randoms in solo queue are so self centered they only think of themselves

These roles seemed so messy. I hope we can get a clarity update. As an IGL I’m having a really hard time basing team composition off of this video. It’s hard to figure out which agents to put into which role. Especially when everyone is fighting over duelist roles.
