    That is such a nice note. Much more traditional sounding. I will be getting an RA next year and one of these will be on order. Thanks for the video.

      Thanks for your comment, whichever Royal Alloy you buy you should be very happy, great scooters.

    I have recently purchased a second Tasso exhaust. The first one I bought had cracked between the pipe and muffler. It shouldn’t have happened but I won’t argue after 3 years and for the money I paid. Now fitted the road exhaust, it seems a better quality of metal. Safe riding, all x

    I see on the Tasso website a section on remapping the scooter ECU. Did you have this carried out or is it only for really fine tuning? Has there been any issues? Thanks.

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  Před 3 lety +1

      I only fitted the exhaust for a friend I run a Scorpion. You can send your ECE to Tasso for remapping if you like.

    Hey partner. On the carbuerated version does the pipe increase speed. I have the 150 cc 2020. It only maxes out at only 55ish mph. If that. Does the carb.the reason why it's on the slow side. Thankyouverymuch.

    • @MikeColwell

      No increase in speed from changing the exhaust its just looks and sound. My injected 125 did around 64 on the flat with no wind and my 300 over 80 mph.

      @MikeColwell  Před 4 lety

      The only exhaust for RAs that I know complies with the required specs for MOT etc is the Scorpion, would this effect the legality of being a learner? In the strictest sense yes in practical terms probably not,

    Whatever floats your boat,but £360 for a scooter exhaust with a slightly different noise,I don't think so. How do they justify the cost?

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  Před rokem

      I'm showing the fitting of this exhaust on a friend's scooter. I fitted my GP300 with the Scorpion exhaust which I believe is the best available. If people expect more performance when swapping exhausts they will be disappointed. Swap for looks and sound if you don't mind spending the money otherwise stay with the original.

    does this not void your warranty?

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  Před 4 lety +1

      If you had a claim and the exhaust could be shown to be the cause of it yes. However, with a four stroke engine it's extremely unlikely to ever happen. Also this exhaust and a lot of others shouldn't pass an MOT but they do. RA take a realistic view on warranty.

      I ran a Scorpion on my GP300 as I believe it's the best. Never seen a quality issue with Scorpions but, unfortunately a few bracket and pipe brakes with the Tasso. It's Scorpion for me.
