When I'm not mistaking Sherpa is at the moment 11 years and about 8 or 9 months. But when you see him playing with the ball or hear his cute talkative behaviour in the van he' has the same shape like a 3-years old doggie. I've a very good confidence that we all can enjoy his CZcams-adventures for at least another 3 or 4 years.
Bless his heart, it’s the little things in life that makes us most happy and Sherpa’s joy is his favorite ball, I’m so glad it was found. This was fun Jamie but Sherpa says, dad, you’re only as old as ya feel and he feels like a puppy so keep up😂😂🤣 TYFS, I hope you have a peaceful and blessed day♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🐾🐾

That look at the end - "All gone!" Sherpa's eyes: "I don't think so!"
It was my turn to have an animal emergency this morning. My cat is the same age as Sherpa, and last night came indoors with a swollen cheek. Since he was still eating fine & wanted to eat ruled out any issues with his teeth. I wondered abscess, but he wasn't in pain. I wondered if he'd been stung by a wasp. Come 1am this morning I looked at him, he had thick blood literally oozing & dripping from his face. And he turned into a Hissing Sid. The emergency vet told me to take 8am to my normal practice, and it IS an abscess. Because his body had started to eject the infection, he didn't need antibiotics. I just have to clean the wound for 5 days & give him anti-inflammatory medication for a week. The things our pets do to us!! I'm still finding blood splatters around the place!

@@lindaseel8633 After the abscess burst on its own, he immediately started to feel better. Before I even took him to the vet, he was back to his usual, purring, "wake up & give me cuddles!" self. It's still sore, but not painful. Because his body had already started to eject & remove the infection when the abscess burst, the vet said it didn't really need anything more done. She just cleaned it out, although there wasn't much left inside it by that point. It's nice & clean now, though it may still dribble blood or weep occasionally. Now, the poor boy has a massive hole in his cheek! I've just got to clean the wound & make sure he keeps it clean for the next few days. I had a previous cat who got a massive abscess on his forehead. That too burst on its own, but he didn't need vet treatment because he was so chilled he let us bathe the wound. Within 4 days, all signs of the infection were gone, except for the big bald patch smack bam in the middle of his forehead where his M for Moggy marking should have been!
