I've been looking through some of the older death battle clips and though I'm too lazy to do it myself, I'm curious about the proportions of the channel, in terms of 1) fair fights between characters of similar power, 2) arbitrarily determined fights between characters that have cosmic/conceptual/4th wall fuckery, and 3) total beatdown fights between characters that aren't in the same weight class, like this one.
Was really hoping that for this episode, the guys would use the beautifully drawn art from Marvel vs Capcom 2, as it's some of the best Venom animation I've ever seen. Great episode as always.

Venom has BEEN my favorite Comic Book Character since I was 3 years old and Bane I've loved since Batman TAS but to me this honestly (without personal bias) seems like a onesided match

I loved the fact that you managed to include the Venom fight theme from the Ultimate Spider-man Video Game and the Batman V Superman dawn of Justice theme.
The Burning Phoenix yeah I'm sure that was the intent. It just made it difficult to see what was going on for a lot of the movements. Still a great fight! Just thought it could be a tad better.

Bright side is that this death battle was made way before Venom had gotten more powerful. Such as the ability to sprout wings on his back, strong enough to fight Knull, the god of symbiotes with a little help and dark carnage after assimilating symbiote codexes to make him more powerful.
@@LuckyVarma11 Not quite. Carnage is faster and more mutable. Carnage also lives inside of Casadey's blood and so can never be seperated from him. But...he is NOT physically stronger than Venom. Whenever Carnage is forced to go blow for blow against Venom....Carnage is on the losing end and has to run away to reset the fight in favor of his speed and blade skills, or have someone else intervene to do the same thing. Once Venom gets in close and can get his hands on Carnage...Carnage is screwed every time. Even the other symbiotes, only Riot is physically stronger than Venom. The others are just more versatile and thus can display a certain superiorority. Once they get in Venom's hands though...they all lose out to his physical strength other than Riot who IS physically stronger and forces Venom into trying to be strategic.

Mahati to be honest for bane it’s a bit of an outlier. He gets knocked out by a peak human Batman yet is also able to take hits from Super Batman? And while Venom would get wrecked if Hulk or Juggernaut actually tried, he can legitimately take at least ONE hit from one of them consistently since he is superhuman.
@Mahati When did that happen? As far as I know, Bane never fought Superman in the main timeline, only in the animated series and Injustice, and each time Bane was buffed and/or Superman was weakened. Bane only fought against an alternate version of Batman with Superman's powers, but weaker, and man, believe me when I say it didn't end well for poor Bane

Made the fight way more competitive than it should’ve been. Venom routinely keeps pace with Spider-man, who Bane would have no hope of keeping up with.

Although I do agree that Dexter would come out on top, I think that Jimmy could hold his own pretty well. Under times of extreme pressure he's able to do his signature "Brain Blast" which significantly amps his already Einstein level IQ. Plus, in the first Jimmy Neutron movie, he thwarted an entire race's plan to destroy Earth, with just the help of a bunch of average 4th and 5th graders.

Bright side is that this death battle was made way before Venom had gotten more powerful. Such as the ability to sprout wings on his back, strong enough to fight Knull, the god of symbiotes with a little help and dark carnage after assimilating symbiote codexes to make him more powerful.

@@LuckyVarma11 Not quite. Carnage is faster and more mutable. Carnage also lives inside of Casadey's blood and so can never be seperated from him. But...he is NOT physically stronger than Venom. Whenever Carnage is forced to go blow for blow against Venom....Carnage is on the losing end and has to run away to reset the fight in favor of his speed and blade skills, or have someone else intervene to do the same thing. Once Venom gets in close and can get his hands on Carnage...Carnage is screwed every time.
Even the other symbiotes, only Riot is physically stronger than Venom. The others are just more versatile and thus can display a certain superiorority. Once they get in Venom's hands though...they all lose out to his physical strength other than Riot who IS physically stronger and forces Venom into trying to be strategic.

the minute they said "he took hits from the likes of Juggernaut and the Hulk" the outcome of this match was predicted. Bane is awesomely lethal but not that awesome.
Mahati to be honest for bane it’s a bit of an outlier. He gets knocked out by a peak human Batman yet is also able to take hits from Super Batman? And while Venom would get wrecked if Hulk or Juggernaut actually tried, he can legitimately take at least ONE hit from one of them consistently since he is superhuman.
@Mahati When did that happen? As far as I know, Bane never fought Superman in the main timeline, only in the animated series and Injustice, and each time Bane was buffed and/or Superman was weakened. Bane only fought against an alternate version of Batman with Superman's powers, but weaker, and man, believe me when I say it didn't end well for poor Bane

+Joe Humpston - To remove an annoyance. Bane was causing problems and every single person he tested Venom on died. Their hearts would literally explode from the stuff. Good time for an experiment and remove a problem at the same time.

Although I do agree that Dexter would come out on top, I think that Jimmy could hold his own pretty well. Under times of extreme pressure he's able to do his signature "Brain Blast" which significantly amps his already Einstein level IQ. Plus, in the first Jimmy Neutron movie, he thwarted an entire race's plan to destroy Earth, with just the help of a bunch of average 4th and 5th graders.
