- I paid a visit to Ikoyi Cemetery in Lagos to see some notable people burried there, I ended up seeing and learning so much more with my friend@enejadivine
This was my first time in a grave yard and it wasn’t as scary as I always imagined it to be. - Zábava

It's called a vault. They can bury on top of each other. In the UK 🇬🇧, the family can renew the contract if they want. It's usually a 25-year contract.

Honestly if you visit a grave yard here in Melbourne you will not be scared, well kept and maintained by the government. In nugeria where eceb the living are not cared for.

When I lost my son I buried him and made concrete on d grave cos they told us they’ll bury him with other people .

Please don’t see my question offensive, why do they bury old people in cemetery in Lagos? Am from the delta state and we bury our parents at home we only bury children or someone without who have no children in the cemetery, I live abroad and I know they bury everyone in the cemetery here but I was surprised to see the calibre of people buried in the cemetery in Lagos, please if you are kind enough to respond I will really appreciate

In the uk there is share graves where people don’t have the financial resources so they put different people who are not related ontop of each but the limit is three by shared graves I think the government needs to look at the Philippine style where after a certain time the graves are evacuated and the place used again because at this rates there will be no place for anyone more unless the government can provide more lands still we will run out of land so I think cremation is the best way
