- Hello Everyone! In Today’s video we visit nexus learning building in South Shields, to take a look at the Tyne and Wear metro trains that should be in service by the end of 2024.
In today’s video we get to have a peak on board class (555013) and what inside looks like. There are 12 tip-up seats all together there are 116, with USB charging points and four wheelchair spaces.
For Cyclists there are belts to attach your bike to while you’re onboard. The driver cabs are more bigger and better with a wide front window and two side ones.

What game I would love to play it
Bout time they had new trains been riding them since the late 80s early 90s, even remember when they refurbished them to the black and yellow ones on the right but that was just the outside the rolling stock underneath was still probs 40 years old
I do miss the colour version of them, it’s a shame about all the Unrefurbs been taken out of service. I do know that 4001 is getting displayed at the Stephenson’s museum, the state it’s in now gives me different thoughts.

It was an opening evening where you can go in and have a look at the new train, this opening evening was a celebration to mark 40 years of the Tyne and Wear Metro in South Tyneside.
It wasn’t very well advertised. Most drivers didn’t even know about it s they would have taken their kids.

It was an opening evening at the Nexus learning Centre, where you could go in and have a look at the Stadler which was lucky 😃
