The popular menu is katsudon! Japanese craftsmen who make katsudon one after another!

The restaurant we asked to photograph this time was Daimonji Udon.
Their udon noodles made with broth from early in the morning are very popular, but what is ordered almost as often as the udon noodles is their katsudon (pork cutlet served on top of a bowl of rice in a bowl of rice) based on their udon broth.
At lunch time, the restaurant is packed with locals and businessmen, and there is a long line of customers.

Katsudon in Japan generally are made with Pork katsu. You see more Chicken
katsu outside of Japan due to dieterly restrictions.
