Wow I finally found someone with as small of a kitchen as me!! Mine is smaller yet but doesn't have a washer and dryer in it so I figured we are about equal! And I have a family of 6 almost 7..This was so helpful thank you!!
You have done an awesome job. Raising our three girls over the years we have lived in a few different houses. Some of our best memories are from when we lived in the "little house". We never knew the true sq. footage, but I am sure it was under 800. Probably 750. Three girls and my husband and myself for three years. Lots of great memories! Finally I see video small house ,normal house for hard worker people ,the only u see on CZcams is look my 2 million dollars house and blah blah blah ... .my house is really small I bought 5 month ago is my first house and last one ,the house has fundation problem :( they screw me really bad
Hey just an idea... It looks like you have a lot of space on top of the kitchen cabinets. You might could buy some baskets to keep on top of the cabinets to keep bigger cooking pots and pans or even one to hold laundry items. Just a thought.
That is absolutely an awesome idea! I didn't want to just toss stuff up there but if it is in nice baskets that would work and might even look cute! Thanks for the idea. I most likely will use that idea. Could be good for baking items that I don't use on the regular as well.
I live in a small space too, but it's just me and my four animals. I have big bedroom that was supposed to be the living room and made the dining room in the living area. I also have a small office and large kitchen and tiny bathroom. You have utilized your space very well and as far as storage you're doing well. I love the under the bed storage. It's clever and a space saver.
I use sturdy folding chairs in my kitchen, and they're black with black fabric so they look nice. At less than $20 each, it's definitely a good option so everyone can have a seat for meals (we also have a family of 5, but our apartment is less than 800 sq ft).
Hey, don't know if you did already but you can fix your fridge to open on the other side so it's not such a squeeze. That's what we did and it's a pretty simple fix. Nice home btw 🙌🏽
Just a suggestion for your meal times, you could wheel the office chair you have in your lounge room, to sit one adult on and take it back after each meal. Then you can all sit down together for your meals.
Hi. THanks for sharing. I have a small house too, and it's tough to find ways to store things. Why don't you remove the dishwasher, and put a stackable washer and dryer in it's place. Then you can bring back your cabinets where your w/d used to be, or you can add nice butcher block shelves in that area for storage.

We are renting not owning currently so can not make any changes.
Where did you get your kitchen table from? I love it and need one in my small kitchen.
A small local store here in NE. I think they get overstock so not sure where it came from initially.
