I love the way Maria exited the episode after she was sent home. No moping, no extra words or asking why it happened. Did not even give Joey and hug before she got on the limo. True Maria style.

Maria completely ruined it last episode by threatening to leave! Their interaction at hometowns was not same as on their 1-2-1 where they had this playfulness and passion and I could feel Joey was different with her in hometowns, he didn’t look at her the same way and did not surprise me one bit that she was sent home.
Imagine getting to ends of the dichotomy; Daisy wanting to be patient but still present and open to more and then Maria threatening to leave....

Joey didn’t want Maria so he used her slightest bit of uncertainty as an excuse ,notice that daisy wasn’t 100 percent either but he still kept her and was willing to wait it out (when a guy wants u they won’t get rid of u that easily plus joeys insecure he’s gonna choose the one that’s obsessed with him cuz he doesn’t want anyone to leave him that’s the only thing he talked about this whole season )

I got misty when Kelsey told her dad she loved Joey, just the way she said it -- so sweet and vulnerable, and joyful and giddy all at the same time. Almost like she was recognizing it for herself in that moment. If that was fake, she's a great actor!

Daisy was way more hesitant than Maria. Maria was acting like a normal person trying to function in a dysfunctional dating situation. Acting all unbothered when you’re falling for someone is not genuine or normal. I think she truly developed strong feelings for him in spite of all the crap she had to buy into to play the “villain”.

I definitely would NOT watch if she were! I liked her in the begining, but after seeing how immature and insecure she was. And the constant threat of wanting to leave turned me off. I also was concerned by her dads' comment of "it would be bad for Joey if he broke her heart." Hmmm

I’m assuming this is because she was annoyed Maria pulled Joey at the rose ceremony? I mean, Rachel annoyed me slightly in that moment but I totally got why she was annoyed. All the sneaking and pulling both Maria AND Joey do with one another would get to me too. Especially if I felt a bit insecure about my connection, which I think Rachel does.
Rachel? She’s been a total class act, similar to Ariel from Zack’s season. Very strange people, who would have any issue with her.

Was just hopping on here to say the same thing! I'm in City Park a few times a week & there are always people either taking bridal or engagement pictures. Far more likely was them bringing in the Second Line band 😊

Kelsey A, kept talking so that there would be no silence moments 😞 it is not going to be her. Daisy was handed the first rose so I believe it is her. I'm surprised someone who survived a 2-on-1 date, made it this far e.g. Maria. If he wanted someone he wouldn't have made them do gruelling tasks on TV. So it has to be Daisy.
@@worskaasthe part about Daisy getting the first rose was edited, it seems like Kelsey got hers first because when Kelsey goes to pick up her rose, you see Daisy and doesn’t have a rose… maybe it’s just a random shot for drama purposes, but there is definitely some weird editing there!

Joey knows maria will run the relationship and i think he's realizing he cant handle that.

i really loved all the parents in this episode, i’ve seen a lot of parents so skeptical telling their children that they want them to put up walls but at lot of these parents were obviously so supportive which is just nice to see- never thought the bachelor would have an episode restoring a little faith in humanity
I think Joey was already far ahead falling in love with the other ladies by the time Maria started opening up.

not to be a hater but I can’t stand Daisy. I can’t quite explain why. it just seems like she & Joey have no chemistry and her monotone, bored voice makes me feel like she’s going through the motions. when she made the speech about Joey in front of her friends, it was all about her and made it seem like she was expecting not to end up with Joey but was grateful for the experience because of how it helped her personally. idk. i just don’t get a genuine vibe from her.
I like her, but if I hear her talk about that implant one more time… imagine an entire Bachelorette season of that. 😅
Do you think her monotone could be as a result of her difficulty with hearing? Maybe she’s not getting the auditory feedback to regulate her voice as much as a person with fully functional hearing (even with the implant)… just a thought
@@jellyfish939thanks. Not a fan of her either and totally agree with not infantilising people with disabilities and giving the same standards as everyone else. But for everyone commenting on her voice is wild considering she has a hearing disability / is deaf. People don’t seem to realise that how your voice sounds and you being able to control that is harder when you cannot hear!
Yeah, Daisy gave me the ick. Not sure why. I imagine she is a good person. Just something felt...wrong. idk I do wish her well.
I have two cochlear implants- one in 2017, other in 2018. I don’t have any changes to my speech. I know tons of people like me- if you were born with hearing loss you have the “ deaf speaking”.
I think Maria is likeable, but not on the same wavelength as Joey. Maybe that’s just because the women and editing really involved her in a lot outside of their relationship. Rachel seems nice but also don’t see chemistry personally. Daisy is in my top two, but she definitely has hesitation. I can see her and Joey together. I really like he and Kelsey together too. I’d be so happy if either of them got engaged or starts dating at the end.
María is beautiful and is truly herself. She is not trying to play this perfect woman, hallmark princess aesthetic. She is human and has doubts and has the right to be all over the place which is why we see so much of her especially when it comes to love.
Daisy is SOOOOO BORING. She's kind for sure and I'm sure a wonderful person, but man she's just......there. I also feel that Joey is way into her, but she's not so much into him. Their convos just seem so shallow and not connected like the others. He doesn't act as comfortable with her as her does with the others.
same girl. I just don't feel it between them at all. That convo with her friends was so awkward. She had no idea what she was even saying. She had to have her parents convince her to tell him she's falling in love. It just doesn't seem natural to me.

One of my favorite lines by a father was Daisy's father saying "It's not like you're going to lose your hearing again.. "if it doesn't work out. So cute. I thought Rachel's dad actually kind of rebuffed Joey when he said "call me if it happens.." Kelsey's dad looks great, admitting to the fact that things might not work out and that's part of love or life too.

Ever since that song/video, people who take fandom too far are called “stans”; or folks will proudly declare that they “Stan” a regular person or celebrity (example: “I stan a woman who knows her worth!”)

Daisy still seems uncertain about the relationship imo and idk she always gives me the feeling that she’s here for followers; and her disinterest sometimes bothers me too. So I’d go with Kelsey.

Maria totally ruined her chances by playing games with Joey and he saw through it. Her manipulation tactics did not work and for her to pull him aside right before his decision to twist him up inside and make him emotional did not not work. It probably only solidified his choice to dump her.
I don’t think she was being manipulative. I think it’s exactly what she said, that she was scared.

So get this...I saw a screenshot on IG that Daisy wasn't holding a rose when Kelsey got hers. That means Kelsey got the first rose. They are tricking us!! They want us to think it's Daisy.
After this episode I'm kind of ticked Joey even took Maria to final 4. He has done nothing but question her all season and it seemed pretty obvious he wasn't going to let it go she almost walked out the week before so why bother taking her? He really seemed to be looking for an excuse to not let himself like her ever since the whole "bullygate". Seems like Daisy and Maria both needed their families to see it with him but the difference was Maria didn't express that to him but I don't think it would have mattered in the slightest anyway.
By this time, the bachelors ALWAYS know their final pick, imo. But, it is a tv show, and girls have to be kept around. The producers make sure they are the most hated and most loved ones. The boring ones always get the boot.
Because the show would be a slog without her, obviously
completely agree - he was looking for reasons to send her home this whole time and holding her to a different standard than anyone else. and his comment about maria not bringing anyone home before pissed me off lol
