If you guys wanna be more accurate:
- The engine was upgraded to the street-illegal "Silvertop" after the original engine blew up
- no turbo upgrades. The car was naturally-aspirated
- a strut brace in the engine bay
- As for the cam cover, I'm not too sure because in some shots it has a black cover with a 4A-GE logo but sometimes it has exposed pulleys
- Dash Dodger Cage. It was added in later stages. It's black in the anime and manga but since the color is linked to the primary, you have to compromise.
- maroon interior and bucket seats
- you can add a white wind deflector but it was eventually removed in later stages
- air filters, not sure but go with a nice one anyway. It's practical in real life
- the suspension was upgraded and the 86 was slightly lowered than stock

I've done full EMS and no turbo to mine, about the rollcage, was it present in 4th stage?

In hindsight I probably should have published this one as soon as the DLC came out, since it would probably get more views and recommendations. Honestly though I don't really care about views, but I am a bit sad more people probably won't get to see the video because it'll get buried in the algorithm.

i’m making a stage 1 build since i don’t like how the carbon hood looks with the headlight cover. are there any parts you recommend changing from your build? (aside from the hood of course)

If you’re making stage 1 don’t put the bucket seats, that wasnt put in the car until Takumi blew up his engine in stage 2

Yeah probably, I just really like fourth stage though haha. I don't think its worth it to do a first stage guide though since its legit only the hood and seats lol.

The wind deflectors in GTA are too big, and don't leave the slight black gap. It ends up looking worse.

shinji's is a coupe which means the original futo is still a better car to replicate it with, if only we could make the coupe with the popups :/

I think I will hold off on it, I doubt I will do it though.
It feels wrong to re-create the Shinji's coupe as a hatch, same with Wataru, recreating a Levin with a Trueno. It feels better to recreate Shinji's Trueno coupe as a Levin coupe, and to recreate Wataru's Levin hatch with a Levin coupe.
It's all down to the defining features really. Shinji's defining feature was that it was a coupe. Wataru's defining feature was that it was a Levin.

I agree I think you should just leave those cars be, I made the same decision for my collection of initial d reproduction cars, I used the levin coupe for both of them
