- Before I say anything else, this is a one-shot. I will not be continuing this story.
I wrote this way back in March 2018 before Luka had ever shown up as a character. I had gotten some tidbits of information about him from someone who had knowledge about the show. I originally assumed that he was going to be another classmate but so far, that doesn't seem to be the case. I did tweak just a bit of the writing to fit it more along with canon and even threw in a mention of Kagami, but overall, the tone of the story has stayed the same. The cover image was drawn before I had written the story and I simply redrew it digitally for this video. I didn't bother to change his hair up to make it more canonical, but let's face it, canon Luka isn't exactly a looker.

Since I know people will inevitably not read the description, this is a one-shot and I am not continuing it. It's meant to be open-ended and up to your interpretation. I have toyed with the idea of perhaps opening up a contest if people were interested in submitting a continuation, but that's a lot to think through right now.
I would love to hear your interpretation on how you imagined it would go though, seeing as you are the original creator of this storyline. You have a unique writing style where you place the unexpected perfectly so, assuming you thought of an ending in canon to this anyway, how would it go?

@@ariesqueen2656 With the way Adrien is portrayed here, it would be a very steep hole for him to climb out of. He is literally only interested in pursuing Marinette because he found out that she's Ladybug. There is also the fact that he is keeping it a secret that he knows her identity. I can't imagine a good scenario where she learns of these things and not be hurt by them. But I haven't thought about this story beyond that. This is why I was a little interested in having a contest for people to write a continuation since I was mildly curious about how people would handle writing it.

@@jaleighk.6901 Same here. I could never be as good a writer as her, but I truly aspire to be capable of that talent. If you’re going to be hosting a continuation for us to write then I am all in! It sounds so much fun!! Finishing up or at least giving it an amazing ending would be great! It would be pretty interesting if you decided to make it a contest and let your fans and subscribers vote who has the best story ending. Or parts!! 😃😃😃😄
Also, this is a great love realization for Adrien. To finally see that the two girls-or at least one girl-is in fact the same as the other girl! Although I am a bit confused by if he knew she was ladybug before he found out he liked her or not. That would make it very interesting and intriguing. 😁😉

I absolutely adore the art! The shading, the colors, the composition, it's all amazing!
You bring up an interesting point that fanfic writers often neglect to discuss: Adrien never sees Marinette as more than a friend, but when he finds out that she's Ladybug, he's suddenly really interested in her (same thing applies when Marinette finds out who Chat Noir is). It irks me when that happens, because do they really love *all* of each other if all it takes for them to be interested is a simple reveal with no prior developing feelings for their alter egos? Adrien's dug himself into a really deep hole now, and when Marinette finds out, I wouldn't be surprised if she needed some time away from Adrien/Chat Noir to process her emotions.
I think ladybug is falling for Chat, if we look at her body language she is getting feelings that she is ignoring

This is an interesting senario! (Having Adrian questioning his feelings about Marinette, is nothing new.) But realizing that he doesn't really love her , as in her civilian form , is something i don't see often.

After some time of ponderingI strongly agree that Adrien is on thin ice and would be almost impossible to get out if it was anyone else .This is such a fascinating story because a writer could do so much with this premise such as. How will Adrien keep his emotioms in check ? How dose he prove to himself and marinette that he dose not just love her because she is Ladybug? Will he acsidently get people or himself akumatized? How will he be during battles , will he make too many mistakes? How will this effect his daily life will he get insalmia or not be able to play the piano correctly ? And I bet there are even more questions that I did not think about that could be asked. You know the mental arguments that would go in his head would be instances . One way that he may have à chance to win her over if he is able to ignite a small ember of love that she might still have for him . (maybe) I like that this is a one shot because we are left to ponder what would be the outcome and in the end we will never know . Bravo, this one shot was more fascinating then half of season 2 and 3 .
