I got my first guitar at 12 years of age by 14. I was playing the same beautiful Beatles songs. And that was 50 years ago. Pleasure to watch the generations. Continue on with great music.

Thank you,both of you are *so right* The Beatles wrote and played 50 years worth of mostly great ( and what wasn't great was still good) popular,critically acclaimed,diverse music in only an amazing 8 year recording career and no other band or solo artist has ever done this before,during or since.And they wrote countless great rock n roll,rock and even some hard rock,but they didn't just write rock music because they were so creative and diverse,they wrote all types of great music even though they were primarily a great *rock band*.
Their music is also the most covered of all time by every type of music artists,Motown,jazz,classical,pop,rock,and even heavy metal with the 2006 heavy metal Beatles tribute album,Butchering The Beatles:A Headbashing Tribute produced by Grammy award winning producer guitarist and guitar player in the group kiss,Bob Kulick who saw The Beatles in concert in 1966 featuring many hard rock and heavy metal musicians including big Beatles fan Lemmy from Motorhead etc

Indeed, The Beatles were like no other and what always strikes me is the growth of their music from 1963-1970 from I want to hold your hand and all the shadings and gradations of growth in between to The White album~talent like we'll never see again I don't believe. Once in a lifetime? Maybe once in a century and a half.
Next year is the 60th anniversary of the Beatles visit to America which launched the British Invasion. Rhys makes it feel like yesterday. Excellent job.

@@suecox907 He busked on the sidewalk outside our local shopping mall when he was 15 - during school holidays. He busked a handful of times before forming a band (5 Seconds of Summer) with a couple of school class mates. That year they were chosen to be a support band for One Direction on 2 world tours back in 2012-13. They were obviously successful from then - you can google their story..

I have to add that when I first heard this song and group I was in the 4th Grade and realizing how young the Beatles were when it happened and for that matter me you seem to add a bit of de je vous moment of how they must have not only sang it but performed it. All we ever saw were manic girls screaming and crying but they seem to have a bit more restrain today thank God and we can hear the song.
