exactly everyone in my family would always used to baby talk my cousins and now they’re like 6 and 10 they still have a mindset of a 2 year old, especially that 10 year old cousin of mine 🥰
From what I’ve seen on korean shows that has to do with kids, staff has to have Child Psychology Training and Certificate. Hence, all their actions and response to kids are appropriate.

The staff knows how intelligent Haoh is so they willingly teach him the hard, technical words. Haoh is most likely already storing all that info in his cute brain of his.
He already saw how smart Hao is 😊 so it's not surprising that he willing to teach Hao something complex
And it's actually nice that when children wants to learn, they let them. There are many children with potential who couldn't develop that potential because when they want to learn adults will say "You're too young for that" or "You'll learn about it some day" or "You're still a child you will never understand so it's useless to tell you about this"
doing simple task like solving math etc while your wife in pregnancy is a great time to build baby brain while they growing.

What i like the most is, Gary is always sharing their food and everything with the staff. I think its good that Haoh sees that. Gary is indeed a good role model for his son
I've been watching ROS since the beginning (haru and sarang) then skipped after the triplets left. They're the only house so far which i've seen share their food to the staff almost every shoot. Please correct me if there are other families like that, too. I probably haven't seen it. But I'm not surprised because I've been watching gary in RM too for 7 years and I know that he is such a kind hearted man.
@@yuukoteshi5303 For Haru till triplets years there are barely any interactions with the staff because the staff are told not to communicate with the kids and just ignore them even if the kids talk to them (so that it's as realistic as possible ie their normal daily lives at home) so definitely the parents don't offer food to the staff through the kids (maybe personally off camera). However, they changed a few years back (Eden and Aciel early years) and let the cameramen talk to them and yep, for the more recent TROS, Gary and Haoh shares the most

Gary's parenting style is interactive. He lets Hao plays with toys but his presence is always there, conversing, giving instructions, answering every hao's questions and he also plays along. If my husband aint gonna be like GARY, im not gonna have a kid with him LOL justkidding

Being in the show really affected haoh compared to the other kids. Never did the other babies talk about the slate, the focus shots of foods, or have their own camera. I won’t be surprised if in the future he’s interested in the art field. With his dad encouraging playing instruments and his life with cameras and the media as this moment. I can definitely see him working in the business in media, music, or digital art/marketing.
Gunhoo play with slate too, tho, but yeah wouldn't be suprising if Haoh will work in film industry knowing how he has a high interest with this stuff
From Wikipedia, Gary participated in directing the MV for the song Champion - Leessang to give tribute to Choi Yo Sam, a boxer who was very close to him. Haoh takes after his dad for artistic interest

I think Hao is more advanced than what they concluded. His pronunciation might be inaccurate but his vast vocabs could place him among 5 / 6 yo. ( Or maybe Korean's average is really that high, idk)

Even for korean 2-3 year olds , Haoh is really smart. You can tell that Gary isn't the one pressuring Haoh to learn, but rather it's Haoh picking those phrases up himself and making him mature for his age
@@Kath7120 I like to look at this in multiple perspectives. For some parents, they want their kids to be able to learn as early as possible due to competition and the opportunity to get into the best universities as possible. Which I guess is why Koreans have high average.
For others, they think education is the best thing they can give to their children. At least in Asian families like in the Philippines, that is the case. They think with education, their children have options for better jobs in the future, which in turn helps them live a better life than their parents did. This is why PH has high literacy rate (but sadly low reading comprehension rate - I presumes there is a need for the country to be more immersed in reading culture, but that is another matter).
What I want to say is that stress among students should not be entirely seen as a sad thing. That's something I realized only after graduating from college myself.

Nils Nilsche The word mission is one of those English words that kind of became a part of the Korean language. My mom used it a couple of times with me too. It’s more related to tasks that can be labeled as “challenges” I suppose. I’m not sure how to explain it, but I guess it’s used for tasks that are supposed to be completed/have an end, tasks that are not an everyday type of task, etc. It’s really hard to explain it, it’s just a feeling for me on when to use it.

I did commented before that usually the word used in this situation is "task" and not "mission" as this not exactly challenge. They only wants to see how gary and haoh reacting and interacting. @Haneul here agree too.
I (and i believe ha neul too) a bit dissapointed by the word choice of the tester for they should choose a less ambiguous word. We normal people would react similarly to gary when told its a mission/challenge. Even Do Anchor said it too (in this video). And this getting worse for gary who used having "missions" in weekly basis (and not anymore).
Hao using banmal (informal language) to Hwang Hyunjin. If you notice even Hao's tone sounds different too. i.e: the first second, "what are you doing?" his tone increased but not in annoying tone but friendlier. Like talking to a close friend. When he told Gary that he was worried that Hyunjin might not sleep well after drinking coffee, I started smiling like crazy. But when he said Hwang Hyunjin is precious to him, I immediately melted. 😍😍😍

In other culture/language/country, the psychologist usualy use words that translate to "task" or "job" instead of "mission". The word mission gives you impression that you should finish the job as quick and clean as possible. Exactly what gary did. His RM history also not helping with this case.

I love the direction in today's generation where the kid are able to interact with the cameramen. Back then, there were not many interaction with them or that the cameramen would remain silent.

I loved Gary on RM, but I can tell it's been hugely beneficial for both Gary and Haoh that he was able to spend so much time with his son. Look how close they are, and look how much Gary had taught him!

I absolutely love the interactions between hao and the production team. Reminded me so much of the song triplets. A kid can really teach you so much about kindness and basic human respect without doing anything much. This boy is going to go far and making his parents so proud of him.
I hope gary and his wife could share their tips how they raised Haoh.. He's soo adorable. I have a 15month old daughter and knows 20 words already. We dont let her watch tv or gadgets, instead we just let her listen to music, nursery rhymes.. Etc to enhance her talking skills... . I'm looking forward for their milestone.
He is one special child, the way he behaves, the way he cares for others and the way he takes an interest in things with a serious and excited manner. He’s also very smart and well advanced for his age in a lot of areas that are rare for children

I think its really great that the cameraman was telling Haoh different terms and how to film properly (like zoom, center, headspace). Haoh was very interested and wanted to learn more about cameras. He's a quick learner too

It's like he wanted to be a better parent for the child so instead of putting pressure on the child , he put pressure on himself to be a better parent , like how do i act around Hao , how do i talk to Hao , what should i do , what i should not ...
For me that's like very wonderful of him because childhood days can cause serious trauma if the parents are abusive and no one should be living in anxiousness .

Haoh now probably dreams of being a camera person or a director just because of Hwang Hyunjin. I mean look at their interaction it’s so adorable Haoh even got his own camera

He is observant, so you have to be careful about what you say in some aspects. I was very observant as a child myself and I remember a lot of the conversations my parents had. I especially paid attention when they seemed worried, and everyone has conversations about saving money but in my child mind that meant we were going broke so I ended up crying about it and my dad told me we were fine once he found out why.
Gary is definitely one of my favourite father's in ROS. I love how he's so interactive and trying his best to play and cater to Haoh. He's a good role model too so Haoh will definitely grow into a good child.
