    From Wikipedia:
Norman (/ˈnɔːrmən/) is the third-most populous city in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, with a population of 128,026 as of the 2020 census. It is the most populous city and the county seat of Cleveland County and the second-most populous city in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area after the state capital, Oklahoma City, 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Norman.
The city was settled during the Land Run of 1889, which opened the former Unassigned Lands of Indian Territory to American pioneer settlement. It was named in honor of Abner Norman, the area's initial land surveyor, and was formally incorporated on May 13, 1891. Norman has prominent higher education and related research industries, as it is home to the University of Oklahoma, the largest university in the state, with nearly 32,000 students. The university is well known for its sporting events by teams under the banner of the nickname "Sooners", with over 85,000 people routinely attending football games. The university is home to several museums, including the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, which contains the largest collection of French Impressionist art ever given to an American university, as well as the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
Norman's National Weather Center (NWC) houses a unique collection of university, state, federal, and private-sector organizations that work together to improve the understanding of events related to the Earth's atmosphere. Norman lies within Tornado Alley, a geographic region colloquially known for frequent and intense tornadic activity. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC), a branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that delivers forecasts for severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and other high-impact hazardous weather in the contiguous United States, is located at the NWC. Additionally, research is conducted at the co-located National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL), which operates various experimental weather radars and develops innovative tools, applications, and techniques aimed at improving forecasts and warnings of severe weather.

Had you continued east on East Main Street from the roundabout at 7:47 , you would have run into the north end of Lake Thunderbird in another ten minutes.

      @aj742 Před 9 měsíci

Actually, East Main street ends in a dead-end at the Wal-Mart supercenter. You might be thinking about Alameda Street instead.

@@aj742 Correct. It's been a while since I've taken the "north" route behind Lake Thunderbird.

I'm black American born in a different State of course non the less I do speak Latin but still doing my American things living life in a positive way, so I thought it would be cool to move to Norman Oklahoma especially due to a job, and I all wanted was to live a more Americanized life bc let's face it alot of other states are being with alot of different cultures which I don't mind if you're living ur life minding ur business, and trying the best to live like an American.
But I come to norman Oklahoma and move to an apartment where I end up having the worst ignorant neighbor ever.
The upstairs neighbor is a black light skin girl where her hair color is some type of brown and sometimes she leaves it curly or leaves it like an afro.
This girl started with banging and making loud noises when she hears you go to different part of the home. And to top it off she doesn't put music or watch TV so that she can mind her business OH NOO instead she keeps it quiet and you would think that's good.
    But all the opposite reason.
Her motive of keeping it quiet is so that it makes it easy for her to eavesdrop to listen in on the neighbors. If neighbor goes to the bathroom, or goes to the kitchen she goes there, really weird ish like that, or if you making personal calls she give hints that she is listening, and many other things that she and the ppl she is hiding in her apartment be doing, bc is not only her alone.
I also believe that she and her ppl's are immigrant based on the weird activities she be doing that is non American like sneaking them into her apartment.
Bc only she the only one that supposed to be in the lease and further more doing non American things like using incense that STINKS LIKE GARLIC AND ONION and it reeks it even be stinking up my home and clothes. It's disgusting 😡 and when I go out I smell like that effing smell 🤬 as if that's not enough she be using some mopping solution that smells like idk what to describe it as, and the smell sips out of her dumb apartment into my home and when you go outside you even smell it on the outside of the apartment 😡😤
I DIDN'T MOVE TO NORMAN OKLAHOMA TO LIVE NEXT TO IGNORANT IMMIGRANT PPL DOING STUFF FROM THEIR EFFING COUNTRY with her witchcraft bullshit with the muddah effing incense and cleaning solution that she is using just bc ppl make report on her. Idc if she don't want to be reported, she is not the owner of the apartment complex. She want the apartment to herself.
Now I understand why the person who lived before me made wholes on the bathroom door look like he punched thru the bathroom door, bc that light blk skin girl upstairs and her ppl she be hiding are weird AF THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY.
IMMIGRANT PPL LIKE HER LIGHT SKIN SHOULDN'T BE IN AMERICA IF THEY STILL GONNA BE DOING STUFF FROM THEIR COUNTRY THE INCENSE NONSENSE I DON'T WANT TO SMELL THAT ISH AGAIN IT'S DISGUSTING 😤😡👎👎.
I would love to take pics of her so ppl be aware not to live near her. But I think it's not allowed. I'm trying to figure out what country she is from bc I don't think she speak Latin bc I speak Latin and I haven't heard her speak, but then again I'm not like her being nosey in other ppl's business. Anyways worst neighbor ever👎👎👎😤

problem with the usa and suburbia is cars cars cars. nobody goes on foot hardly anyone walks and there are no places nearby to walk to.. its very unsocial environment, which is why we decided to buy an acreage. might as well be surounded by nature..

All these places fall into 2 categories: empty cities and empty suburbs. It’s like you roll through all these places on a Sunday afternoon.

I live in Norman and after viewing this, I’m pretty certain it most likely was a Sunday afternoon. I could tell by businesses that were passed and the amount of cars parked in front of them on Main Street and Grey Street.

This video was shot in July this year (in the description). This is when most of the student population of the University of Oklahoma is out on summer break - during the regular fall and spring semesters, you'll find cars and students everywhere from 15:00 onwards. But Norman is hardly an "empty" suburb at 128,000+ residents. And has been (and is still) growing.

That’s because there aren’t any people. Norman was abandoned about 10 years ago. Everybody moved out. You won’t find any information about it online because they don’t want you to know.
