This reminds me of harvest moon but lighter and with more mattes. It’s perfect because I wanted harvest moon but all the mattes were a bit too dark and dramatic for me to actually use on a regular basis!! 😍❤️
lol exactly how I felt too. Harvest moon looked beautiful but I need transition shades and more range in the depth to do a full look. I didn’t want to look like the mad hatter every time. This palette seems to have solved that problem. Extra bonus is no holochrome particles. I must be the only one in the beauty space that seems to think those holochrome particles just make every eyelook appear messy. They’re too close the to the dreaded glitter for my tastes.

At first glance it looks like a beautiful color story. But once swatched some of the shades seem a bit redundant. Thank you for sharing the swatches! Helped me make a decision 😊
Beautiful palette! I hope the price reflects the lesser amount of shimmers. I am surprised there are 2 rows of mattes and only one shimmer row. But I guess you can't please everyone all the time. 🤷♀️❤

Pretty! I've got my eye on some of the Ensley Reign singles. I do wish they had more mattes available, though. If they ever offer some of their pastels as singles, I'm definitely making my first Ensley Reign order! 😊

At a glance I didn't care for the color story. But the way the mattes look next to the multi-chromes makes for a cohesive mix of shades for lots of pretty looks. Appreciate the swatches!

I purchased 6 Ensley Reign palettes late last year and got them all in the mail. They are so beautiful and swatch like a dream. Wear nicely as well. Why, oh, why are these launches all coming for my pocketbook?! 😅😂😮😆🤣 Love the swatches Amy. Thank you. I'm going to buy this. I just lost a lot of family members last month during my birthday month and didn't feel like celebrating or getting anything special or nice for myself. I am picking this up. 🩷

It looks really pretty, and I love the order you swatched! That’s perfect to see all the matte options and then the various shimmers to pair with them. I dislike that they still went with the AI art for this launch and really hope to see them go for real artists in the future, I think that would make their palettes so much more special. The shadows look beautiful though! I love that you got your babe a lava lamp, they really are the coolest things ever! I’ve been planning to get my babygirl one, she’s 5! i really wish they would do smaller palettes, its just so many shades. its a cute color story though.
I don’t think I’m ever gonna be able to buy an indie palette ever again, they’ve become unbelievably expensive in the last year or so. The best part of £100 for some eyeshadows is never going to be a reasonable life choice.
This is great for someone who doesn't have these colors, esp bc they're more everyday tones than Harvest Moon. I do like the mattes a lot in my Harvest Moon.
I'm on a low buy, so I have enough reasons to persuade myself not to get it. 1) It's a really pretty palette, but I have all those colors. 2) I think the model figure in the center is also kinda creepy and I won't use a palette w packaging I dislike. I also don't particularly like people on my covers. 3) 6-8 weeks of waiting is awhile for colors I have.
The value per shade is there tho. The same # and type of shadows from Clionagh, Terra Moons, Devinah, Shine by SD would at least be double... but it would be nice to see a smaller palette eventually.
I was so excited to see this release but I feel like the mattes are really repetitive.

Boring palette… definitely won’t be picking this up. I’ve got two of their palettes and they are stunning! This looks like a whole different brand!
I'm pretty disappointed at how few creators have said anything about their use of AI art. It seems like everyone is too scared to say anything about it because they don't want to interfere with their PR. The statement the owner made about her use of AI art was really disappointing. The fact she even claimed there is such a thing as "ethical AI art" when all AI is trained by literally stealing art without the consent of the artists who made it and without compensation is absurd. She tried to justify this by talking about "micropayments" being made to certain artists. What are "micropayments" and how is that different from exploitation of artists and their work? And does the owner herself accept micropayments for her palettes, which she claims is her art? Given how grossly expensive these palettes are compared to other brands, clearly not. Not only is she saving money on the art for her palettes by using AI art that she's paid next to nothing for, she's also not passing those savings on to customers. So we are paying huge prices so she can rip off other artists? We're all supposed to respect her palettes and artistic vision, but she doesn't have to respect any other artists? Anyway, until this owner stops profiting from the use of AI art and actually compensates artists, I'm passing on everything. Disappointing how few creators are speaking about this.
You raise some very valid points. There have been some creators discuss the AI art issue. Probably more vocal on Instagram, though, to be honest. This has put me off spending the high coin on any of the ER palettes. The colour story of this palette does call, but I can most likely dupe most of the matte colours.
They aren’t using AI art as in stealing from anyone. They get art from various artists, whom are paid for their art, and then collage it together for the final image they want. That is NOT the same as just a ChatGPT generated image. They are not actually doing what you claim, and you should have all the facts before spreading lies.

Huge prices? The price matches up with just about every other indie brand. Multiple indie brands palettes are priced the same with just a logo of the palette name on the front with no art and way less shades. Terramoons last palette was a 12 pan for $75. The packaging on a palette doesn’t affect the price whether it’s an artist or AI. The art is paid for ONE time. So how is the owner profiting off of it. 😂
@Coolgirl_internet_alias That's not true. Re-read their statement, which I'm directly commenting on and referencing. She admitted that she tried working with a friend who was a designer and broke it off because they couldn't give give her the "vision" she wanted, which came from her "soul." That is why she started buying AI art to begin with - from someone on Etsy who feeds prompts into AI, then sells the resulting prints for next to nothing. If that person is charging next to nothing, how much do you think the artists are being paid who created the work that was fed into the AI? According to the owner of ER, they were given "micropayments." Does that sound ethical to you? Does that sound like fair compensation? Cuz this is what she claimed was "ethical AI," which she then took and pasted together as a collage. A designer commented on this and said it sounded like she wasn't very good at communicating her idea to her designer friend and she admitted that was probably true. Either way, you seem to be missing that all AI programs are literally trained by feeding art into it that is stolen. It doesn't have to be Chat GPT. Unless the person wrote the program themselves, and can guarantee that no other art was used to train it, and can prove that, I'm not inclined to believe them.
I wonder if Ensley Reign's palettes are so expensive because she's paying the people in the factory in China a living wage? 🤔
Its disappointing to see so many content providers so willing to ignore the many red flags and unethical behavior from this brand.
