A brief description of the illustrious & magnanimous personality of Shri Shri 1008 Shri Narahari Tirtha Sripad, who was 2nd successor after Sriman Madhvacharya to adorn the pontificate seat of Srimad Uttaradi Math.
The great seer occupied the peetha of Uttaradi Math for a period of 9 years. He was initiated into Sanyas Ashram by Sriman Madhavachary himself and was told to occupy the pontificate seat after Shri Shri Padmanabha Tirtharu.
Sri Narahari Tirtharu was instrumental in obtaining & bringing the idols of Shri Moola Rama & Shri Sitadevi from the princely state of Gajapati in Odisha and hand them over to Sriman Madhvacharya at Udupi.
