I'm tempted by that "The Lady From Shanghai" 4k release.
As well as that Wim Wenders item from Janus ("Anselm").
Sad I wasn't able to join live but love being able to watch the VOD while I cook dinner! Excited to see your Criterion + other upcoming haul videos!
Oh also! Finally at the end of the stream and I believe Altman's Gosford Park is like $5 at Arrow Video right now and I'm tempted to pick it up. If you or your wife like Downton Abbey / Gilded Age you two might enjoy! Crazy stacked British cast.
Almost 4 weeks into the sale and Barnes & Noble still is out of stock online for Bound 4k, which was at top of buy list during sale. Amazon has it in stock but has not yet matched the sale price. That's what's aggravating about Amazon; they'll slowly roll out matching prices over entire sale duration, but this is stretching it.
Watch Fellini's "Nights of Cabiria" prior to seeing "Sweet Charity"- Charity is based on Cabiria... (ha i recommended this movie in another comment!)
Yes, pick up The Game. It's a great movie!
Farewell my concubine was the first Chinese film to win the Palme D’Or at Cannes.
I misted Today cuz I took my parents to see Twisters
