    So clear and helpful. Beautiful fabric. I guess you could lengthen the lining by a few inches if you wanted?

    Thanks for the clear tutorial! Very helpful. A nice easy pattern, and simple to modify to suit your preference. I cut the straps double the width of the pattern, which suited me better, and modified the strap area slightly to accommodate that change. Shortened the straps a good bit for better fit.
    I used a white charmeuse which was pretty light weight. I didn't like the way the shorter lining showed through, so I ended up cutting a new full lining using the top pieces, shortened by about 1/2". Something to consider if your fabric is light enough that the shorter lining shows through.
