plus tbh the majority of Rhod's stories turn out to be true, much like fellow chaos machine Bob Mortimer. just answer "truth" straight on down the line and you'll win the point way more often than not

Wild ducks have climbed all over me to get seed I was feeding them by hand while sitting on the ground and I had to pick up and push them around with my hand to stop them from getting stuck in my crossed legs. Mother ducks _never_ abandoned a single one in all the sporadic years I was at that lake for the week. Touching/moving ducklings with stinky greasy human hands doesn't mean the parent WILL abandon them.
I was going to write the same thing, no animal or bird abandons their young because a human has touched them.
Birds in general don’t have a sense of smell so I am sure it is not true. Well spotted!

It's a reasonable question to ask why Henning didn't call his family from Morocco, but I'm guessing that people have also forgotten how we used to treat phone calls - long distance calls were really expensive and paid by time to the point where the cheapest of families avoided calling when possible and it wasn't as typical to call home when on vacation, especially if you weren't living with them. Also, we didn't have phones on us all the time. So you had to think of calling when you had time back at wherever you were staying and make sure it was a reasonable time to call with any time difference. Ah, the good old days when you wouldn't get spam calls when you were out and about, lol. But a lot less convenience. Public service announcement to those who weren't around then. :)

honestly, I don't care that this is completely and utterly mistitled (Henning's Interpol story is one of the best stories in the show's history and not at all "underrated") WILTY compilations are never a bad thing lol

Germaine is wrong about mother ducks rejecting ducklings that have been handled. Birds have no sense of smell, so a mother would have no way of knowing if a human had touched her duckling.

What I wonder is why - given this is supposed to be a comedy show, often utter nonsense, and Lee could be lying - why she felt the strong need to correct him? You can see Rob cringing, which is funny. I guess she felt strongly about it.

Back in the late 1960's my mate Bernie, his cousin Malc and I, used to play Uka bong (though we had not given it a name) on Friday nights, but we used small cushions. I don't know why they were thrown by the "like a niece" concept, I think most of us had/have people that we called/call aunt or uncle that weren't technically aunts and uncles, either friends of the family or people that were technically cousins but because there was a sufficient age gap they'd get called aunt or uncle.
Rhod does things just to have the story later for a show.

I would guess that they either looked at the viewing stats and picked all the videos with the lowest views to bundle up or they just wanted a catchy title
@@ruk2023-- That's about half right! We looked at views as well as the comment sections and these are ones that aren't mentioned so often. We also did a post here on CZcams asking for some suggestions!

Rspb is the bird charity but he got it mixed up with rspca and rob said it even more wrong with a d instead of a b, saying it was for just ducks not birds in general.

Sigh. I really can't stand Brian Blessed. He's always so overdramatic, theatrical in all senses (which is never a good thing in any sense of the word) and full of himself, and when he tries to be funny it's just embarrasing.
