The Covid 19 Elections

Documentary (with English subtitles) about 2020 general elections, that were held amidst a spike of Covid-19 infected people in Myanmar. The pandemic hindered many political parties and favoured the ruling NLD. Due to an increase of fighting in some ethnic areas, many townships were excluded from the ballot for security reasons. All together quite difficult to have a free and fair elections. This documentary was broadcast by Mizzima TV on November, three days before the November 8 elections.
