19 people may have been killed that day, but the entire city of Uvalde will never recover. And those of us who watched and follow For the days and weeks after that, we will never be the same. How can you be the same when 10 year olds splash their hands in their best friend's blood to play dead. 19 people died that day, but hundreds of thousands of lives around the country and throughout the world will never be the same either.

I think they’re expensive, but I think bulletproof windows on every window of the school would help

I teared up and felt so, so bad when they said they removed the poor little boys bed and is now gone. 💔 I know he's the uncle, but .... Idk I'm not a parent or guardian, but I don't think I'd ever get rid of anything my 4th grade child owned, especially so soon after his brutal death.
To answer his question of why schools need to have the same level of security as a prison...well, it's because schools have been soft targets for deranged people for decades. Now, your schools aren't, but many around the country still are.

I see no problem removing his bed. Especially if it’s the same room as his brother. He probably couldn’t take seeing that bed empty. It was probably his decision. We can’t say if we will or never won’t cause we aren’t in there shoes. But I can’t at all blame him

If they are afraid to go to school, go to places like Singapore, Canada, there are no school shootings there, i have been to those schools before
