In case you're wondering why the grass on block clusters are white, it's due to a bug with Flywheel when block cluster instancing is enabled. This isn't an issue by default.

You actually did the thing that turns the sky purple as it gets closer?! Awesome! Looks even better!! With the mobs running away? This is coding genius. And the chunks that fall during its death are an incredible touch to detail! The particles in the beams make it feel even more immersive, and the extra details inside are that extra flavor it needed. Incredible work, keep going!
You say the animals running away is funny but in all honesty it makes it a lot more terrifying imo, like imagine being super far away from the storm and then all of the sudden you just see every mob in the area start running in the same direction, and then a sinking feeing in your stomach just starts setting in before the music even begins
I think you would see the Storm even before you see the running mobs, to be honest.

I love minecraft story mode, and honestly, this is the closest thing to living the story with your own being

This is probably the coolest mod I’ve ever seen. The amount of polish to this is just unreal. The way everything looks, how it’s animated, the sound design, everything is well made down the smallest detail. Seriously good job on this and I’m excited to see where it goes. If I had to give a recommendation the death of the wither storms final phase might need a bit more “boom” to it but that’s about all I can think of. Good job on this project and good luck on any future ones you make :)
this mod is such an underrated work of art. the attention to detail in it is amazing. i remember when it had nothing over 51k downloads. i cant wait to see where this mod goes

Amazing! Everything I wanted in one update! (Although a wither beacon would still be cool)
I mean the wither nether star was used to make a beacon in mcsm so there's a chance that a wither beacon will be added

I love this mod so much. I always wanted the sky darkening feature and the mobs running away is honestly an amazing feature aswell.
A small update all things considered, but it was still a great one. I really like the detail of mobs running away from the storm.
The darkened sky is exactly what I wanted in the mod :D

Ah yes, a sky effect, animals running, particals and a village makes it much harder.
@@gunthegoldminer8119 I didn't mention anything about THIS update. This update is more atmospheric I guess, but what I want is more stuff to config to make it harder.
Awesome update, and I am finally happy to see tractor beam particles and bodies in the wither storm. It really improves the experience.

This all looks amazing man! The only thing I would suggest is having endermen attack it and rip blocks off of it when provoked.

My favorite thing about mcsm was the ws and i wanted to have it in minecraft and this mod made my dreams come true!
If the wither storm has blinking lights on his head during night time when far away that may be cool just like the minecraft story mode
This mod is absolutely awesome bro.. like the whole idea of like a parasite wither creature that just Consistently evolves is just mind blowing really.. idk if u just look at these but an idea is that If you dont spot it in time it will evolve like to an 8th 9th etc even being bigger the the planet itself.. well thats another idea for another day.. goodluck with future stuff bro

what is so cool about this is that if you had an smp and you installed this onto it, you'd have to defeat it, or else it'd be wandering your server forever, destroying all of your stuff and chasing you till you decide to deal with it
When you said that most mobs will now run away from the Wither Storm, I was expecting you to point out that Endermen are the exception and, in fact, the key to opening a hole in the Wither Storm's body, as opposed to the hole simply opening up on its own, like with the previous version of this mod I've seen. If you haven't already, you might want to think about working on implementing that in a future update.
That's likely very difficult to make endermen target the witherstorm. It isnt something they can teleport onto or reach to attack.
@@NitroStarman I think the endermen should be part of the wither storms animation. What I mean with this is that endermen will appear on the wither storm but those won't actually be real endermen, they're actually in the code part of the qither storm. That would kinda solve the issue.
@Spear-throw Entertainment maybe the animation could play if a enderman is killed by the wither storm, basically makes it look like the enderman didn't die but teleported and are tearing the wither storm apart.
This is amazing 👏 definitely my favourite minecraft mod. I love how accurate it is to story mode. I have a suggestion though. I know it will probably be rly hard to code but would it be possible to make the blocks being pulled up by the storm solid? As in, while they are in the air the player can interact with them. So for example if they were standing on a block as it got pulled up, they would get pulled up while still being on it rather than the block just going through them. They could also break/place blocks on blocks mid air. Love the improvements so far!!

the wither storm should mainly suck up blocks by its beams but also outside of the beams at random, but mostly with the beams
You should add a feature where is endermen are in the storms tractor beams, they enrage the witherstorm. Perhaps every occasion you can add enderman group spawns that distract the wither storm for long period of time.
Omg this mod is cool and terrifying I was in my base and the wither storm (phase 3) was far in the distance and I was doing stuff and I looked back and it was stage 4 I didn't really care to run since it was so far away but after about a minute it was approaching rapidly and I didn't even realize because this mod is so well made and within 2 minutes it was destroying my base and I had to run 10/10

I’m glad that you made the mobs run away, it looks realistic just like in minecraft story mode. Unfortunately I don’t have java edition and I’m on mobile, so maybe if there was a bedrock version but lower quality and not as much features in order to not crash mobile things

Mobs running away + fresh animations
When flywheel support is added, it has a chance to crash randomly during phase 4. The only way I can counter it is by disabling flywheel support.

You should make it to where endermen have a greatly increased spawn rate near the wither storm in later phases.

Hello crackers! Your wither storm mod has to be the best out of any of them. But I wanted to tell you some ideas I have for mobs. One idea was a worm/snake with a with storm head at the top. These mobs can home in and fly twords other mobs, grab them and send them into the wither storm. These worm creatures are formed on the back of the wither storm and in early development it would be a spine and the wither storm head. If you fly inside the wither storm you should be able to see them grow.
Or these mobs can be the tentacles at the bottom of the storm and break off when seeing a player.

I've got some suggestions:
1. Add more phases in between 0-7. Maybe like 5 more phases or more?
2. Add more phases after the current maximum. So it can grow so much bigger even bigger than Minecraft story mode.
3. Add more withered mobs
4. Add a super beacon craftable only from the withered nether star. And cannot be destroyed.
5. Add a setting to make the witherstorm be able to be heard from many blocks away. Like a scroll wheel.
You don't have to do these right away but it would be cool to see in the next few updates.
Instead of a super beacon, it should be used to craft a new command block. from it you can make a new storm
Those are some very good ideas! I would love to see them in a future update.
This mod is amazing, but there is still some room for improvement. Make the hole on the wither storm under the heads, give the tentacles more accurate animations and update the textures of the command block weapons. Would really appreciate if you used these ideas 😊

I have a suggestion that in mod settings an option is type "History mode" and it can be deactivated and that would make the wither storm have up to phase 8 or more In short, if you deactivate that option, the wither storm will grow more. In another message, I will try to express myself more.

Where to begin? The models, features, THE FACT YOU CAN SEE IT FROM 10,000 BLOCKS AWAY?
I love this mod, it might be the best mod I’ve seen up near the charts of twilight forest and betweenlands
to me, this mod also feels like vanilla+ like just one more boss that you can fight, if you dare? seeing it from far away is dreadful you are aware there is a looming danger, and every second your not running, it’s getting closer. and to people who never played MC;SM the wither storm re-awakening and coming back May come as a suprise. the wither storm went through 2 of my dogs and 1 cat this mod also runs with great performance. I also love how you can encounter the “Withered Symbiont” and fight him while it’s using every spell in its head to kill you, to feed you to its master. I also like the withered symbiont theme as it reflects what it is. a beast that is smaller and weaker then the storm but still powerful nonetheless and the compaibility with modded blocks is awesome I love how you see the wither storm picking up blocks from different mods and biomes the feeling of dread you have from phase 4 to early phase 5 knowing you can’t do anything but run is actually terrifying.

I wish these featured get backported to 1.16.5, it looks absolutely amazing.
I have a suggestion for the mod, the final fight against the command block isn't that hard so I think that either the arena could turn upside down at the final phase or the command block destroys the floating pedestal its on and floating black blocks appear and you have to parkour to deliver the final blow to the floating command block. You don't have to, just a suggestion.

I have a feeling that the wither storm should shoot more of those projectiles in later stages because in the in later stages it’s sort of rare of it shooting em, or that’s just me but just something to mention ^^
Plz make the music line up with the wither storm's stages! It was one of the best features of the OG mod!
Idea: You can add certian structures from story mode to get certian items like the amulet
I think the block clusters falling animation should be a bit different. I think the clusters shouldn't start falling until the wither storm "explodes" and that they should be blasted into all possible directions. Right now it kinda looks like the wither storm is pooping its pant as it dies. I also think that block clusters should also be blasted out of the wither storm as its being blown up by the wither storm. To make it seem more that it got torn into pieces.
