just for the heads up, if any of you guys can't handle spicy stuff, and happen to visit indonesia someday, just dont order anything spicy there, even if they said its just "a lil bit" spicy.. trust me indonesia spiciness is just on another level, it could burnt your whole body off, just don't ever try it.. even if you think you can handle spicy stuff, and never visit indonesia before, you might as well reconsider about how good you with spicy stuff 😂

I (Taylor) love certain Thai dishes, and when I eat at Thai restaurants in America, I always have to tell them “barely spicy” because I learned quickly that their spicy and my spicy are two different things 😂 their “a little spicy” had my eyes and nose running like crazy and chugging water 🤣🤣

Jika kalian berdua nanti berkunjung ke indonesia,maka kalian bisa menikmati,nasi goreng,nasi uduk,bakso,mie ayam,martabak manis/martabak telor,pisang goreng,gado-gado,karedok dan masih banyak lagi makanan khas indonesia lainnya,apalagi jika kalian membelinya di gerobak2 tradisional/emperan(pinggir jalan) krn rasanya pasti berbeda dengan yg ada di restoran.salam hangat selalu dari kami yang ada di indonesia.

You should try tempe (u pronounce 'tem' as temp in temperature and 'pe' as pei in Pompei). Deep fry in like french fries. Low in lectins because it is fermented soya beans❤😊

But among those in ure box, only Chitato chips and Yupi gummy that I've ever had - and I think those two are the most popular ones compared to others
Too bad the box consists "not so common" snacks eaten here in Indonesia ... there are more actually that taste much better than what u've got 😁🙏
If you happen to buy Indonesian snacks once again, try Beng Beng - it's a chocolate bar with caramel, crispies and wafer 👌
Those were two of our most favorite ones, so you’ve at least tried the two we liked most lol. I’m sure there are sooo many more out there for us to try! We’re hoping we can get our hands on some more, different stuff. Ooohhh beng beng definitely sounds right up our alley! 🤤

about Durian - whether you eat the real fruit or it's made into any types of food - Durian is a fruit that only have 0 or 10 scale (never in between) whether you're gonna loooove it, or hate it so much that makes you wanna throw up 😂
most Southeast Asian ppl have no problem with the fruit, but usually Westerners got a real challenge eating it - once you put it into ure mouth, your brain will quickly response, either swallow it or throw it up, lol ...
It's always fun watching a group of Westerners had this challenge 😁👍

Wow thanks for trying out the snacks. I'm only familiar with a few of them. Some more popular snacks made in Indonesia are Beng Beng, Silverqueen Chocolate, Chiki, Kacang Dua Kelinci, permen Kopiko, Roma Biscuits. Hope you'll try some Indonesian dishes..and hope you'll visit Indonesia someday!😊
Beng beng was one we were recommended to try! We’ll have to see if we can give any of these anywhere 😁 We definitely want to visit Indonesia!

Chitato, Yupi, and Bamboe are some of Indonesian big brands. There are some of the box that are considered as newcomers, but we have the older, equivalent products in the market as well, so they are not foreign to us. Yes you should make more of this video. Shop yourself in an Asian market and try the stuff. Tables aside, there's one super simple thing you should get in the next videos: scissors

I recognised swveral products and brands as very authentic. In Indonesia the mass market is very price conscious so these kind of products have to be cheap.

I only know chitato, yupi and bamboo indonesian fried rice seasoning.
And fyi we're Indonesian love to put cheese for almost every meal, including mix it with chocolate that kinda strange to foreigner same as you guys like your avocado with salt and we prefer avocado with sugar or condensed milk😅

Some of the snacks i think uncommon in Indonesia, in my 37 years of living in Indonesia i never saw that snacks (DeKa with Durians and the Melon Milk Candy) the rests are easy to find throughout my country… Maybe next time you guys can try to eat some Indonesian food…

So many variant / types of Snack that u can found in Indonesia. For example : Chips.. Potatto chips, cassava chips., corn chip, vegetable chips, tofu and tempe chips, Etc.
Sweet Martabak ( indonesian pancake ) for mostly indonesian people it was a Snack and we can eat any time that we want.
Oh interesting! We enjoyed almost everything in our box, and are hoping we’re able to try more! The martabak is something we were recommended to try and find!

The chocolate-cheese combination is very common here in Indonesia. Many desserts and snacks have that flavor combo. My two favorites are, Martabak Manis (Sweet Martabak) and Pisang Bakar (Roasted Banana) with chocolate and cheese. Oh and for the noodles, sometimes we put cheese on it too! No chocolate tho 🤣

FYI: Chitato and Indomie Mie Goreng manufactured by the same company but with the whole different division. Those two divisions did one time collaboration to make Mie Goreng flavor Chitato and Chitato flavor Mie Goreng. It was a blast! It's rare to find those flavors now. But, hey, we're Indonesian with so much creativity. We just combine the noodles and the seasoning inside the Chitato bag and pour hot water, wait for 3 minutes and boom! we can taste indomie-chitato once again. LoL.

I've been away from Indonesia for about 9 years, so actually I don't know most of snacks that you got in the video except Chitato, Yupi, and Bamboo seasoning 😅
Those three that I know are pretty famous and loved by a lot of Indonesian people even now.
Good to know that Chitato has mie goreng flavor now, because instant noodle mie goreng by company "Indofood" is pretty likable both domestically and internationally.
Hope you two get a chance to eat this indomie goreng too one day 😊
(Don't try to buy it outside Indonesia, though, because "export version" flavor is different with the one which is sold in Indonesia)
