Not many people realize, but Duelist's Heritage triggers whenever one or more creatures attack. So Steven could totally target other player's creatures
I do that all the time.
"If you attack someone else, I'll give it double strike."
They take that offer 99% of the time... unless their creature has hexproof or shroud... damn you Greaves and Boots 🤣

Just for future reference, even with authority of the consuls out Corey could still make infinite tokens at the end of Johns turn and they don't go away until the NEXT end step so he could still "combo" everyone (including Stephen in this case because it was a pestermite that would be copied) #kikijikithings
Small, inconsequential note with regards to this game, but if a Warrior/Samurai attacks alone during the second combat phase from Raiyuu, his ability still triggers and the creature becomes untapped.
Wow, truly surprised with that first kill! Stephen's deck had a great showing for a mono-white deck honestly, really good stuff!

I have an Isamaru commander dog deck that can kill super fast its all about cheap equipment and auras and buffing isamaru up with power early and then supporting him with lots of weenies and anthems

54:00 I know goad can't force you to pay for Ghostly Prison, but If you can't attack the other guy, isn't the goader back on the table? You HAVE to attack if able, so if you can't attack the other guy I would think you'd have to attack the goader.

@@MunchKING While Planeswalkers are the next target, you are correct. Goad is another player if able, so if there are no other opponents they still have to attack the goad player.

He's been on an extended hiatus for a while due to personal reasons.
All this kamigawa fun just doesn't feel the same without Justin 💔.

I hate kingmaking... especially when Jeremy could have won. Unless Corey drew a way to deal with the enchantment Jeremy could goad both of them for another turn then take them both out on his following turn
Same, not a kingmaking fan I like the cEDH style where you make plays that can only win you the game, even if someone is threatening a win or such. Unfortunately with the point system here it makes sense to king make players with less points

I think he died to actual damage before the commander damage state gets checked.
@@mitchellbaker4847 pretty sure commander damage is like lifelink. And the games take checks for either lethal damage or commander damage at the sametime. Game enders are split second. He died to both lethal damage or commander doesnt matter he super body bagged

Suarez should be gone only attacks one person and its never the biggest threat he pkays scared every game
So Corey combo'ing up and buulding the walls wasn't the biggest threat?
Its Steven Green's threat assessent that is always laser focussed on the wrong person.
