Headcanon that taako literally never uses his real hand for anything. He has mage hand on quick draw and casts it for literally every mundane task.

Thats the whole point, right? To trim all the fat while leaving the actual story & dialogue? When an actor performs in a play/movie/TV show, they dont read out the stage directions.
But yeah, it is a nice attention to detail. Makes me wish someone would just fully animate the whole kit & kaboodle like this. Thats what I want. Not an animated OR live action adaptation of this story OR a graphic novel retelling of this story, I just want the actual original podcast's audio to be fully animated while also doing what you said, cutting out all the parts where they roll dice & say "I do" etc and just ANIMATE them actually doing that stuff. The whole story from episode 1 to 60-whatever it was. Is that too much to ask?!

oh god your taako is PERFECT, he is _i n c r e d i b l e_ oh my god… his expressions and body language are so spot on, HOW!? the first scene with the magic hand and then the last seconds of taako's smile and lil head shake are so good, they straight up _killed me_
To be fair taako spent most of his time in wonderland almost dead

I like that you edited out most of Griffin's descriptions and out of character talk. Makes it more immersive and you make the animation describe itself. Great stuff!

I'm guessing that Magnus wasn't interested in the dating round because his heart still belongs to Julia and he gets a mannequin anyway

Magnus was a mood as somebody who hates dating. I was sitting there just nodding.

@@icantthinkofanything798 Magnus’s backstory (Stolen Century not withstanding) was almost entirely decided before they even started playing. In fact, much of it had to get shaved off because it was TOO grimdark and Griffin was getting bummed out about it lmao

oh gosh holy shit I'm in LOVE with this?? like a bunch of other comments have already said, your expressions are so great and the gestures are fucking delightful! my favourite bit is where magnus is trying to convince taako to not choose forsake, where taako turns around and says "well maybe next time you should get chosen as the player!" Just, the way you drew it feels so in character, the sass is So Very Taako

holy fuuuuuck!!! this is one of the best damn taz animatics i've ever seen! i'm so in love with the body language all 3 use, especially Taako's expressive hands (tHE FINGER GUNS) and Magnus' changes in stance. Another thing that's *perfect* about this is the way you cut out narration and added animation to fill in the gap, it really added a lot to the flow of the scene and was incredibly enjoyable. And one last thing, your Taako is flawless and almost exactly how I see him too.
This is one of my favorite TAZ animatics. First off, I commend you for doing such a long bit. Second off, I love how you added extra sound so it felt like a show or something. I also love how expressive the people are.

I love Magnus’s expression at the beginning of heart attack. Like there’s a mix of confusion about what’s going on and some disgust over what he’s hoping isn’t going on (because of Julia) and general concern and caution. And right before it there’s just a little bit of anger probably just at this whole scenario. Man it’s good.

All if the expression and gestures and such are top notch!!!! The characters all have a real weight to them thanks to their realistic movements and consistent anatomy! This is super well done

this was one of the animations that introduced me to the adventure zone and it informed my mental picture of the characters for the whole thing, and i think it did a pretty great job for that. also i just love this animation a lot, it fills in the details very very well

The way you animate Taako, especially as he's walking up to the button is so well done. You really nailed his character movements.
Believe it or not, this animatic is what made me go check out TAZ! I was like "ooooo who's that cute elf boy?" and so I went to watch (listen to) an episode. Needless to say, I'm now hooked on not only TAZ, but the McElroys too!

This is definitely one of my favorite animatics from the series I've seen. I love the way you demonstrate emphatic movements with just a few frames added to a static pose.
The answer to "how many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man" is zero. The song lyric is already calling him a man before he's walked down any roads.
