Doing the zipline jump on console is actually very easy, I don't know why it should be that difficult. Just hold your interact button, don't let go of it and press jump. You can also do it while being in the middle of the zipline if someone is shooting at you just hold the interact button and jump

i was just saying that, i never thought it even requires minimum skill, you kinda just need a half working brain lmao.
tbh controllers are slept on, if you've been around a controller your whole life and know youre way around it, you can do almost anything a pc player can (in a hardware sense, cause those frame drops....) just have to be aware of what youre doing.
I successfully made a corner pivot on ps4, but there was a pathfinder waiting for me with a mastiff😢

I know this is pretty late, just found your channel today, but the "corner pivot" does, in fact, have a name already. It's called a "momentum shift" and has been in use for years in both TItanfall games.

@@QuakeV thanks cause the amount of time i get a longbow right of the bat i cant shoot the enemy even then if its normal sniping i can aim and use it
Sniping you just need to use a sniper a lot. There are no real tricks to it. Just need to use it and get the feel for it in every scenario.
Really it comes down to practice, but on console I like to do a quick scope type of thing, and it usually does the trick. Just go into training, grab a longbow, and practice sliding around and snapping onto targets. You'll get the hang of it eventually dude, good luck👍

One of the things that has helped me on console is using the bumper jumper pre-set controls. You can do two things at once rather then doing one thing really fast. The Zipline boost will be much easier with the bumper jumper, I only need to press it once and it'll work.

The wall jump = ezy
The zipline boost = ezy
The pivot corner = impossible he’s using scrips
idk why but pivot corner is more ez than wall jump, wall jumping takes me time like 30m but pivot takes me only 5m.
Pivot corner is something I didn’t even realize I do all the time to disengage and heal at the same time
wall jump is very hard because the timing is hard and not pressing forward is very counter-intuitive.
are you on console, or using controllers tho? cuz pretty sure pivot jump is the easiest in this list, for keyboards..

Been doing corner pivot on console sense the game came out lol didn’t know it was hard for everyone. But I’ve also been playing claw sense before I knew it was a thing, just did it naturally to hit more buttons when needed

still sp underrated, taking a break from apex, rainbow6 so much fun
I mastered backwards sliding and I clutched a 1v3 with it yesterday (they had peacekeepers it is a great way to run away from close range shotunners)
This should help me. Maybe Ill become a good quake like you.
On PC I recommend setting *[h.Crouch}{jump]* to your Thumb Buttons. This is a classic Titanfall 2 schema. Make them alternates. You can still have your keyboard crouch and jump keys. The thumb buttons just become alternates to free your left hand for movement. If MB4 (forward thumb) is crouch, its easy to just jump with MB5 (back thumb). Just like sprint jumping on a pad.
For the zip line boost on console try to bind your L3 to jump. So you can look around jump, and click the zip button all at the same time. Just have to spam L3 hard enough.

More in depth explanation on the corner pivot please. I'm able to bunny hop strafe while going backwards around a corner but that seems to be different from what you're doing there. What's actually happening here when you do this? Why the need to input both left and right movements after the backwards input? Shouldn't you just be able to press S and then D to make a left corner like that?

For the zip line boost on console.. Pretty much hit square n x at the same time.. Haven't tried boosting for height on a building but I've done it across a zip to avoid being hit
tip for console players, these moves are MUCH easier with bumper jumper controls

I am able to consistently use the zipline launch on console because I have a SCUF controller with paddles on the back, one of which I bound to jump, so I just hit square and immediately jump
How does that work? You press square or you press the paddle?

If I play with paddles for the zipline boost could hitting A and my paddle I use for jumping to work better for the zipline boost?
Corner Pivot works on PS4 but it's hard to make tight turns (at least for rn I may get better), the one I'm having the hardest time with is Wall Bounce, I can't figure out how to shoot off in another direction other than behind me, and I can't even do that consistently

in fact, all these are really hard on con, except the zipline boost, it is actually really easy i'd say anyone could do it, just press square twice you don't even have to spam it. But cool vid man, subbed definitely.

On Ps4 : Wall Jump works, Zipline Boost works (but not that high as in the video). Corner jump don’t know yet

A wraith glitch where you have to clutch phasing a slight second before you get knocked, the way you know this worked is if your knocked and still into phase. You can pull out weapons and kill others. Idk if this got patched or not
Or the corner pivot u can do it but it’s more of a diagonal turn around the corner then a straight backwards

I pulled off a wall jump in bunker (like you did in one of the clips in this video) but I went over the entire 3 man squad and unloaded my turbocharged Havoc and eliminated all 3 of them in 3 seconds. So clean.

wowww it’s not exactly that impressive... quake has done way cooler shit than that
you can get very good movement on xbox if you have an elite controller or a controller where you can change your stick sensitivity . on your left stick if you change it to either "INSTANT" or "AGGRESSIVE" you can get strong enough movement.
Though not a big deal but I think you did mentioned in video that you were gonna put a bhop video reference in description (or am I so high that I don't see it at the moment)

I play on controller and can do all these with an easy trick I invented, it works on default controller and scuf obv. You want to bind jump on L1 and crouch on circle. That will make bhopping, wall jumping, corner pivoting, and zip line boosting easy af
