Love the video thanks. A couple weeks ago I bought a 2021. It was very hard to find I live in Michigan and most things are still closed because of the pandemic. Your tachometer is badass.
ill be rejetting my roughhouse soon , adding an high performance exhaust, air filter, fuel line , cdi, and coil plug , then when i get more money cluthes, roller weighters and so on , not going to get bbk heard and read it burns your top end faster and strains bottom
Have one. Great scooter. 70cc Malossi --95 main jet--stock pipe. 47 mph top speed and 6k miles and going strong. If derestricted it runs 42 mph stock, but takes a while to get there. BBK makes it really just about perfect.
xraybeam2 What elevation are you at? That seems a bit low man. I'm at about 850' above sea level in Indiana with a 70cc Malossi sport bbk, 95 main jet, stock pilot jet, an NCY super transmission kit, installed on a 2014 RH50, and I top out at 56mph (GPS) on the flats and about 45- 48mph with extremely heavy wind or uphill. Generally I can hit 55-56 and back off the throttle 1/3 of a turn and it'll hold the top speed unless heavy wind or a hill. I weigh about 215 lbs. I can get about 63mph on long gradual downhills. I'm just curious if you're at a high elevation or if you're running heavy rollers or contra spring or something because I'd think you'd get more. Like I said I've tried this with a few different GPS. I've been riding it that way since 2015 and it's now decreased to about 51-52mph top speed. Belt and sliders are worn so I should get my 4-5mph back.
Would you recommend drilling speed holes in it if I still have the 50cc carb? Just put bought the Prima exhaust off Amazon (it arrived and was an NCY part for some reason) and got new jets on the way.
@@WingsWheelsChannel Awesome, thank you. One more question for ya lol, on the Prima exhaust, did you put the perforated exhaust gasket that it comes with on?
This makes no sense. You uncovered airbox holes and went 26 mph ? Are the two restrictions removed ? Do you have a sport exhaust with a #90 jet and adding more air ? Nice scooter though
could someone riddle me this. I have a stock roughhouse sport 50. destroyed the roller pin, that was at 8,000 miles, then they put a 70cc Malossi bore kit on the top end, and 4,000 miles later I went In for service and the pin was slightly damaged and the piston was stuck. Is it me, or do they not know what they are doing? This bike is made to run hard, so why in the hell is it tearing up. Buddy states that he thinks he should change the oiler , meaning oil pump, I told him to go ahead and change it but my concern is, shouldn't I be changing the carburetor, variator, and the clutch?
I had a tremendous amount of trouble with mine. 2 of the 70cc kits later I gave up on it and went back to the stock piston & cylinder that came off of it before I started modding it. When I sold the scooter I had spent well over $3k on it between initial purchase and all the mods. Hell I could have (SHOULD have!) bought a PCX150 instead. lol The little 50cc 2T engines on the Genuine scooters just don't seem to be all that well built even in STOCK form. Some say they are GREAT! Some have had a heap of trouble out of them. I know that is not a "answer", more of just my real life personal observation. I sold my 2015 RH50 in late 2016 for $300 running on a back to stock 49cc engine kit
Thanks. Yeah, about the same hear with me in monies. And since I posted this, yet another issue. It is now so fast that the belt is flipping. They put a new one on and on the 1st test ride, it flipped the new belt and obliterated it. Now they r telling me they need to get a larger variator and a Kevlar belt. I'm like, "dude, that's on y'all because I just bought that variator last month and if it's too small then you're the one who ordered the wrong one. And #2, you all have done all my service, if you didn't think enough to have a Kevlar belt on the bike, then that's on you also, you ordered it." Damn! This is crazy. I am not going back to stock though. No can do, they r gonna get this bike right.
@@joegriggsjr.6511 can you move up to a larger scoot? Like the 150cc class? I could not immagine having to pay a shop to do all that work! That's a lot of labor $$$ lol Wish ya the best of luck with it.
Once you lose the gas cap for one of these you have to replace everything with a key, so if your not a mechanic a Roughhouse gas cap will cost you over $100. ROUGHHOUSE Themselves said that this is pretty bad
It would really be nice if you would’ve just held the throttle and let it hit its max but instead you keep playing around so thank you for the no result video👍
They make two versions. The stock, and the sport version. The sport version made entirely because people realized how good it was for road use, and would switch out the tires and shocks for more road appropriate ones. The sport being the road specific one. You do know that "roughhouse" is just a name right? It indicates/means little in the way of actual use case. He's not on a ATV. He is one a, for what the state views it, a motorcycle.
I like the price of these but I'm not sure if I can trust any vehicle made in China. The company who makes this apparently wants to change the stigma about chinese scooters. So we will see.
It's a "Genuine" scooter. Which is another sub-brand of Piaggio, who also owns or co-owns Aprilia and Vespa. Uses the Same engine as the PGO BigMax50 sold in Europe. It's anything but Chinese. Like others said, it's a Taiwan engine. Which, if you know nothing about manufacturing or engines, is a very good place to have high quality parts made.

How do you have so many things attached to your handlebars?
Did you drill those holes out? Have a 2015 roughhouse r50 but those 6 holes are blocked, only gets air from a small hole in the front of airbox?
Yes, I drilled them.
I need a website with parts for this moped please help someone

You have an aftermarket tach on a 2 stroke?
Yes, why?
How fast can you get it to go top speed down hills
About 50 or 55
What is the digital tach/speedo?
An old ass cell phone
Should have got you a rattler 110
Can you ride with 2 people?
If they're both 80lbs. and there are no hills.
Seriously though. It seats two but its not fast with two grown adults.

Stock carb, and 110 main jet

Hi. What’s your top speed? All stock?
Survivemich1 hell no 43-45 mph something could be tuned
I think it was a little over 40.
The big bore kit gives you more power, but top speed is limited because of the gearing.
Why don’t u just look at ur speedo that thing ain’t going over the max
I hear they have problems with the injectors.
*Genuine Buddy and Roughhouse... are made with two stroke engines with carburetors... NOT EQUIPPED WITH FUEL INJECTION.*
J Martin he’s talking about the oil injection but that only happens if you use the wrong oil
you own a ROUGHHOUSE, go offroad, kid.
potatochobit fuck off weeb

I can hit 65 with a big bore and pipe
GPS?

Taiwan is not to be confused for mainland China. These are re-branded PGO scooters. Genuine is the last company importing 2-stroke scooters.

Get your facts straight buddy.. not made in China..
Not everything made outside of the USA is made in China. Google is your friend.
