I got a weird sense of nostalgia when this played during the credits of Violet. Not because the song's particularly old, but it gave me a similar feeling I had as a kid watching the credits of an old Pokemon movie. Particularly the first three. Never thought I'd get that feeling after playing a new Pokemon, but it happened.
I agrée so hard with you, I also feel this nostalgia while.. it was some playing hours… during the end Spoiler for those who didn’t finish All the empty sky, enormous, infinite, but which just shows how big this world was, and how little we are next to it, we, us, four teenagers ( age of mc ofc but somehow we all fall into childhood when we play Pokémon don’t we ?) just here, all together. They faced the worse, and went through so much things. But they are here. And all this road traveled is for me, the best treasure we could have found. And “celestial” from Ed Sheeran to me, represents perfectly the vibe of this end ! Just hearing it after what happened feels… glorious
Make me feel a bit like the end of the movie with deoxys when ash says goodbye to all of his new friends he met. And in the background was playing "This side of paradise". I think I was 10 back in the day, and I unlocked a core memory 😌
That feeling hit me hard when this song was playing in the game's trailer, it made me feel happy about going on all the adventures from this franchise. Sweet memories that I'll always hold onto, and this game's top of the list.
Some people don’t understand what the point of this song is, it’s meant to make you feel nostalgic. Supposed to make you remember how carefree and untroubled you were as a child playing video games. And after the whole events of Pokémon scarlet and violet it was very fitting. People are welcome to their own musical tastes, but saying it’s trashy makes others feel kinda sad because it made them relive their childhood. Please don’t make fun of others musical tastes and instead try and understand why they like it :)
Violet and Scarlet honestly have one of the better plots in the games. I've been fortunate to have almost no bugs and glitches during my playthrough, and none of them were game breaking, probably because I played it months after its release, and it has gotten updates. That really allowed me to have enjoyed the characters and story more.
Man I’m 39. I just played Violet and finished it. And wow, I just cried. I’ve been a long fan of Pokémon, watching the shows, playing the games, and even collecting the cards. I like that it happened that way too. All Arven ever wanted from his mother/father was for her/him to acknowledge him and let him know that he was loved despite the way their relationship was so badly strained. It might not have been from Arven’s real parent, but the A.I. was programmed with the professors’ thought patterns and behaviors in mind and what they said to him at the end was exactly what their living counterparts would’ve said to their son. Sada/Turo might not have been the most conventional mother/father, but they did truly know what was most important to them and it was their son and the region he lived in.

Ed made a banger on this one
Ed Sheeran made me shocked about this song and I can’t stop listening to it😂
There are genuinely some things about Pokémon scarlet and violet that I don’t like(like the frame rate for example)… but this is not one of them this song, the story ending, the characters it’s all phenomenal.
I just recently finished the game for the first time and I can’t wait to start over again.
I was surprised and delighted when I saw Ed Sheeren's name in the credits.
I don't care if people mock this song. I like it
I think people get two emotions when this song played at the end. Either a: “Wow, really? lol no way. Or a: happy accomplishment feeling, or a sense of sadness/nostalgia. For me, whenever this song plays, I always feel nostalgic for my favorite Pokemon game, despite all of its bugs, I love Pokemon Scarlet and Violet so much
As buggy as the game is, i genuinely enjoyed the plot. I think it's one of the best plots in the series
The best song ever.
This song hit HARD at the end of scarlet and violet
I love, Love, LOVE this magical, majestic song! Thank you for making it, singing it like an angel and bringing it to our beautiful planet!❤️‼️💋🥰🙏🏻
As a big fan of Pokemon since almost 20 years old, this song it gives me so much nostalgia🤍
I just finished Violet games and I’m actually in emotional🥹
POTENTIAL SPOILER
this is what you hear after defeating the Paldean champion with your fully evolved Fuecoco/Sprigatito/Quaxly, Armarouge or Ceruledge, Bellibolt, Koraidon/Miraidon, Farigiraf and Wiglett
Actually is after the final boss
@@frev5907 oh ok
Brings a tear to the eye when you think that prof bot got to be free at last. Some where in the future exploring finding his own treasure
@@Gatekeep09 Or in the past for Scarlet players, but either way.
So beautiful
Nice.
Theme of our character and nemona if you ask me. The way she basically stalks you every where
I been a fan of pokemon since it came out 25 years ago i was 9 when the first games came out
Say what you will about either Ed Sheeran or Scarlet & Violet.
This is the perfect feel-good song after what Arven went through. His story is all about the friends he made along the way, finding the truth about his parents and then moving on.
Super good it is a very good song thank you for making this song ❤
I slept on this song a bit and now I really really like it!
At first I thought it was strange/amusing that this song was the trailer music
But after that ending- I'm sorry- there's just something in my eye hold on-
I remember listening to this song sometimes when the Scarlet and Violet trailers came out. I got the game a month ago and when I heard this song at the end, it made me very nostalgic for 2022 🥲
Luv both of them 😊

Sounds like it would fit right in Zootopia.

Who’s here after the indigo disk
Some times when I want to watch Pokémon my dad says "I feel like you watch too much Pokémon." So he wants me to watch other things on TV...
This sounds weird compared to the remix used in the DLC's credits theme.
