great video again! always love watching your videos! i'm from Australia and fish for carp quite often, but it is illegal to return then to the water as they are considered a pest. i fish for them with unweighted corn or 'free lining' as you guys call it. and i believe that pound for pound they are one of if not the hardest fighting freshwater fish in Australia. they're in plague proportions over here so when i fish for them i get between 5-10 in a 2-3 hour session! they're great fun on light gear and fight very hard! love carp! great video again!

Some fisheries seem to accept rubbish as a 'standard' now...downside of commercialisation maybe?
I would like to applaud you for your attitude to litter, or rather, other peoples litter. We, my wife and I, just returned from an exploritary walk down to the grear river ouse (local to us) to be greeted by a veritable land fill of beer bottles, cans and plastic bottles strewn around a popular swim. Needless to say we collected all we could and put then into the re-cycling bin at home. it took all of 5 minutes to do. If all anglers did this we wouldn't have the litter problem we have now...
I would urge all anglers, Take nothing but memories, Leave nothing but footprints, Repect the environment or lose it!

Well done lads have watched loads of your vids now and they are down to earth exact and just what people want !!! . I hope this goes from strength to strength , you really deserve a tv show i honestly believe it would be just what our sport needs and would be a hit !! . You are a insiration to young anglers all over and well done to anglers mail for picking up . I hope they help and cover costs of stuff cause the promotion you give them is unreal . Great to see you fishing the Lewes Pells!! It's sure cleaned up since the early 70's when my brothers & I would stalk Carp the same way, slices of Mothers Pride worked best. C:
There were some good Roach& Perch, then & the odd wee jack pike.
If you still can, try Mickelham Priory for some big Bream n Carp, a few Tench too.

Thank you Gavin! It's a funny pool down there, all spring summer and autumn it's shallow, muddy and horrible, but as soon as the winterbourne stream starts flowing and the water is coming from the chalk it fills up and goes lovely and clear! It's such a cool spot, sadly theres no pike or perch any more but still a handful of roach. :)

This is a really nicely made video! Whoever made this knows what they're doing with camera movement, light, composition, editing and audio. Your carp are a bit different than the ones in my lake--bigger for sure. Now I'm going to try using corn for bait.

The Sussex Ouse! Some of the biggest Sea Trout in the country. You may well be able to fish it on a HH swap permit as one of your local clubs has a stretch downstream from your stretches.
Ah yes, it might be worth a try but I think we can't do a swap because we are on the coarse fishing HH permit, will look into it though :)
You should be able to do a swap permit providing it is one of the coarse swap ticket waters as we don't have a trout section.
