For those who didn't play the game back then: Consider that Leblanc wasn't meta at all. She was considered a bad pick and considering that this performance is even more insane in the context of history. Faker basically invented leblanc

Dancinglings in fact i distinctly remember people bitching about her being OP because her early game was too strong, the reason she wasnt seen in pro was because her late game was so retardedly weak even if you got ahead you had to be a god on her to do anything
one-dot-two Same as Anivia. The reason you don't see her in competetive is her very slow ramp time, but besides that she has insane lategame teamfighting, midgame powerspike and 1v1 lane control.

What a fun meta this was, when pros would play jayce top, karthus mid, zyra support, nasus jungle and sona. And they considered leblanc as a bad pick for mid. OMG this days seemed to be so fun.
lmao these days karthus would be way to immobile to even survive midlane leblanc or any other meta mids
these were the fun days to watch pro LoL games. no real strategies, shit ton of kills not fighting only around objectives 5v5, and games rarely went past 30 mins

Mercyz nah i meant what i said, but bronze division's mechanics and basic game knowledge is pretty damn far from making the scenery that i described enjoyful to watch.
can't remember the correct match up, but either way, it was last week's world tournament, where there were more dragons done, than kills at 40 mins. sure you can outplay your opponent on the map, and win the game through that, but i sure as hell would rather see a display of superior mechanical skills and teamfight capability. and the more the better.
skt s3 played very strategy oriented game, maybe it looks different now from s5 perspective or u arent knowledged enough to catch it, but i see clearly they had planned all things, their rotations on map was very smart

dunno what you guys think about this but i think that faker actually revolutionized league, i mean everyone back then was getting caught from his plays and now everyone has learned those plays from lcs/lck ppl who played against/with faker.

its so funny how League changed.
Back then, the flash Sona Ult was an "amazing" play, today we would notice that Varus hits the turret once and the coordination is totally off, as he runs out while Sona flashes in, but back in the days that was an amazing play by everyone. Incredible how much better League players got from there on.
+Josias Br Piglet was trying to kill the turret in order to continue the tower dive (MVP bot lane wasn't going anywhere and he was taking turret shots). Zyra flashes forward to kill Varus who was being requiem'd by Karthus with her own ult but is unable to kill him because he flashes northward, completely but barely dodging Zyra ult damage (his barrier was full shield).
There was no misplay at all here by SKT.
+Josias Br That play WAS amazing. MVP probably didn't think they would get tower dived but their tower was low on health so Poohmandu shotcalls that play, flash ults with Sona right after tower shoots first shot at minions (buys more time to tower dive) BUT Zyra catches Piglet with her E same time Sona flash ults, Varus is stuck so all he can do is ult to keep them there longer until he kills the tower. SO RISKY because Varus had to tank the tower and MVP had Karthus Ult, but piglet's flashing/dodging Zyra Ult and Zyra Passive + Impact's shen ult on Sona won that team fight. Purely outplayed. Shame on you for thinking pros weren't good back then!

i started playing league when braum came out(like mid season 4) and played a ton of league(like 800 norm wins atm) so going back and seeing the strategys and item buys in season 3, after only being exposed to the "newer stuff" is so wonkey ^.^

Beta was like that because noone knew what the fuck the game was about, but people quickly defined some types of meta like Ashe/MF mid and bruiser/support bot lane with AP Carry top and a jungler, but due to some op mechanics like dodge runes and stuff the game was totally unbalanced, it was fun tho. And that beta icon is dope.

Leblanc whas such an overpowered champ here, still is imo. They should make Q a skillshot.
+Pancreas Dragonheart So first off no, Back during this game she wasn't even meta, she was b - c tier because of how hard she falls off. Next for her being op atm, that's just hilariously wrong, there are tons of champions that do what she does but better. Making her q a skill shot would make her the single worst champion in the game by far. She wouldn't beable to fight in a minion wave (or clear one effectively) and she would never beable to pull of a fast poke combo (W (for distance) then Q,R,E or Q,E). Because she wouldn't beable to aim 3 skill shots in less then a milisecond. It would be impossible. She already has a poor winrate and is rarely picked competitively, That would be like kicking a weak champions knee's in and blindfolding her.

Honestly Leblanc never would have been nerfed if not for this man she was strongest in the hands of faker.
Faker still stomps with LeBlanc, even when he was baited to pick LB against EDG in Msi, he still did pretty well despite playing against a team comp catered to clynter his LB

+4SidedStar Yup. PawN was such a shitty mid laner in all of those 5 games. Easyhoon outclassed him by doing How To Orianna/Cassi 1v1 match up ,both sides of the coin 2.0 V5 Guide. I haven't seen other mid laner getting dived so frequently as PawN. Yet.. his ego still thinks the Morgana pick was the key to victory. Maybe that -50 CS and 1 -2 lvls below Faker was THE HUGE catalyst, Kappa.

+MUGEN TV Yep. As soon as Ghostcrawler came from the WOW pvp balance team , over to Riot games. League adapted the same style as Wow. Tank champions are the meta and its all about getting through armor now.
Well everything is still "free", you can still main Yorick for example and still be able to climb to Plat (which is quite an achievement)
