In the video, they say that he had 160 sacks (which is correct), but the text that popped up at 1:10 in the video says 106...
one of the best ever
My favorite football player of all time. RIP.
R.I.P Kevin Greene 😔
Rest in paradise brother
RIP 🙏🙏
RIP to one of my favorite Panthers of all-time
HOFer in my mind no doubt
Good to see him finally get the nod. Since his overall numbers outside of sacks weren't especially notable for a HOF candidate it took him a while to get in which I completely get. Only a few players are the very best to ever play the game and are first ballot HOF worthy. Kevin Greene was among the very best to play a specific ASPECT of the game, sacking the quarterback. He deserves to in the Hall but he probably deserved to wait for several years and have the public look at his record over time.
RIP
Kevin Greene is the boss. He owned quarterbacks. He put the fear of god into them. I'm proud to say I own an autographed #91 Rams' jersey.
eu sou brasileiro e torço para q a NFL venha pro brasil
He was a beast with the L.A.Rams!!
it is crazy how Jerome Bettis and Kevin Green played for the LA Rams they both become Steelers retire HOF for the Steelers.
@NFL great title, career career!!!
Glad the Packers could get him his Super Bowl ring. He deserved it. He's a great coach as well. I understand why he quit coaching, to spend more time with his kids, but I hope he doesn't give it up for good. I know he has talked about maybe coming back to Green Bay to coach again, and as a fan, I hope he does.
Come on NFL.
1. Writing "Career" twice in the title.
2. Miss quoted the amount of sacks he had in the video.
This guy played his heart out. Have a little respect.
Third all time? He'll go in as a Steeler. It's awesome seeing him getting recognition.
If anything he's going in as a Panther. He lead the league in sacks, LB of the year in '96, DPOY, Pro Bowl, all in one year with the Panthers. He spent 2 years with the Steelers and won LB of the year in 94, a Pro Bowl, and AFC Champ.
+Aaries Harris To go in as a Steeler is the best, since it's the greatest organization of all time.
+SteelLegends you completely changed the subject from what Aaries said...
+Gregory Oropesa Of course, because Kevin would want to go in as a part of the greatest organization of all time. Panthers are garbage and have no legacy.
+Gregory Oropesa Also, go to his Twitter account, sackmaster91, he is wearing Steelers uniform. 100% he goes in as a Steeler.
Kevin Greene deserves to be in the Hall, there's no doubt about it. I mean, how can you keep em off a beast with 160 sacks? Maybe he doesn't deserve more than others GOATs with less impressive stata, ok, but he's been constantly competitive for more than a decade, the Hall can't always see just the rings in the hand. Come on man.. [cit. Cris Carter]
Man I loved it when he was a Steeler. Wish he has played all of his years with them.
Like the error in the title.
It's a joke he's not in already
Dan Stevens don't bring up race
kevin greene=hulk hogan
should already be in the hall. I wonder if his incident in Carolina with kevin Steele has kept him out because he should be in th hall of fame
wish my team had players like him who loved the game instead of the checks smh
If athletes didnt get paid so much would they be happy going to work? Or happy to play a game??
RIP
