And from how I interpreted it, Wei Ying at that point realised how much he hurt Lan Zhan by throwing himself off that cliff, leaving him all alone.
He continued to survive after his resurrection because Lan Zhan was there to love & stand by him.

I can tell you that I've never cried so much while listening to a song. Shijie is literally the ideal sister. She's there for both her Shidis during their hard times and always comforts them. When Xiao Zhan was asked in an interview as to what Yanli was going to say to him before she died in Nevernight, he said, "She was going to say, "I don't blame you." " an therefore she died trying to save Xianxian from the sword aimed at him.. :((( I'm crying so much aaah

Really brokes my heart when Wen Qing and Wen Ning died the only one who stand by his side no matter what is Shijie .. at that time Lan Zhan doubt Weiying so when weiying died he feel regret that he didn't stand by his side.. Jiang Cheng also doubt weiying at that time but he never want to hurt him .. it's so complicated ..

Shijie is the most pure hearted character i've found! Even in other novels i cant met character that as pure hearted as Shijie. Even her own husband that she loved that much die bcus of... Yeah. It only takes two words such as "Ah Xian" to make me feel warm as I remember Yan Li's love for her siblings. Xuan Lu really did a great job in portraying senior sister's character. It made me believe that no matter how this world is against you, there is always someone who faithfully believes in you with the purest love and care.
Every time I hear this song, my body automatically reacts and my eyes start to water Shijie was and will always be my favorite character. She didn't deserve the fate but I had to see it coming, I will always love her character, she deserved the entire universe.

Yanli is the only one who loved Wei Wuxian from the beginning to the end, unconditionally. No matter what happened she never distrusted him. Even when her husband got killed and the blame was put on Wei Wuxian she trusted him. From the first episode I knew Yanli dies because why else would Jiang Cheng be so mad at Wwx because even Jc is tempermental he never truly wanted wwx dead. I was prepared for her to die but I wasn't prepared for the way she loved and trusted wwx. She is one of the character that I come to respect and aspire to be. I hope we all can learn to trust and love unconditionally like her and may that trust and love never hurt us back.

When she was crying all I wanted to do was hug and comfort her.
I keep crying throughout this drama oof. Jiang Cheng and Wei Wu Xian broke apart with her death. Even when the misunderstandings were cleared, there was no way they could reconcile. I feel bad for Jiang Cheng because he lost his whole family. And I feel worse for Wei Wuxian because he lost his real parents and his "sister" and uncle,as well as Jiang Cheng. And the whole world blamed him when he was really kind hearted. And in the end, Lan Zhan was the only one by his side. I have to say, the drama did a very good job in providing the depth to every chatacter, even the evil ones.

I will always listen to this song and cry because of how Shijie aka Yanli was. She trusted her A Xian no matter what and always believed that he can never make a choice that will hurt innocents. I love the character of Yan Li. She is such a kind, graceful, beautiful person with a big heart. I ALWAYS looked forward to all her scenes with her two younger brothers, especially with Wuxian. Their brother-sister relationship was so heartwarming... it made me want to cry 80% of the time they were together. Absolutely loved the way she doted on him and how he adored her. He literally transformed into a 3 year old child around her. It was the cutest thing ever!
