Bro it’s crazy I’ve been playing about 6 months so I consider myself still a noob but you shouldn’t be able to use 1 leg and roam around like a forgotten tadpole 😅
It’s awful for new players that aren’t willing to spend money. I’ve tried to get several players to play who quit after barely making any progress like after two weeks of playing.
Or they just don't have the money. As the prices are in dollars, for people who live in countries with weak currencies, each pass is very expensive.
It’s crazy how much just a $10 season pass will get you. I didn’t spend $10 as I got MS Rewards points to do that for me.
I’m just getting the achievements and moving on. This game was fun but god damn did they mess up moving the challenges to the clans.

I want to see a second part. I want to see your grind for 3 epic weapons - Spectre maybe, with radiator, cooler or 88 with Harpy and reload module and Omnis or Hovers. 😉

never buy omnis, they are useless with their horrible acceleration and awful turning speed, enemies can just circle around you with normal wheels and destroy you. After goliaths and augers, omnis are the worst movement part in the game, they are in the poop tier.
Outside of normal wheels, there are only gerridas and hovers.

We didn't get the vehicle schematics but most of the parts were given as gifts...at least I haven't looked to see if we got the vehicles because honestly those builds are pretty bad.
I’m just glad that on console we recently received some free packs.
one thing i will say is "the birth of a legend" is completely op it allowed me to advance past what i had previously been able to do in 300h in just about 50h

Well, early rewards weren't half bad back then either, there was a daily log in reward system that would give almost a few thousand scrap metal in a week to week and a half, rare parts, copper, some wires...
Then, throughout some mid 2019 to Founders battlepass shit kinda went to fuck, the game had a few ups and downs since (more downs but they weren't as deep) but now it's doing quite well. Kinda hard to keep up with all the events lately but alright.

Lock the Bear cabin, otherwise you might unsuspectingly use it during crafting of parts. And you cannot craft/recreate it.

What part does even require Bear for crafting?
Some parts need a Guerilla cabin, but there u can accidentally also use the Bear cabin for crafting. Or when u need Guerilla for fusing, and such.@@Revvnar

I genuinely can't get myself to continue playing and have uninstalled/reinstalled several times, but ultimately quit after a couple hours every single time. I think I made it to like... lvl 15? but the progress is SO. UNGODLY. SLOW. Needing like thousands of scrap to build these multi-stage parts, but every gamemode only seems to reward you like 10 to 20 whether you win, lose, destroy half the enemy team, or do absolutely nothing.
It's such a cool game but god it feels frustrating trying to progress at all.
I might just make a completely fresh account specifically to try and get the new-player packs -- they'd literally put me further than my current account lmao...

I was there,2017-siberia. I can't remember how long it's been since I played triple digit hp. I went into a match at 4.8k the other day for shots and giggles and the skill gap is pretty appearent.

keep playing this account, maybe the Dev's will finally listen to the complaints of new players when actually seeing how aggravating the seal clubbing issue actually is. But then again... the game maybe free to play but its a pay to win reality
The games been out nearly a decade. They’re only interested in milking the players that already play the game
i have a player new for my clan. he goes all the quest and says why its so bad, hits level 10 Engis and came in 4k ps meta with truck/borer. the gap up to 8k is very hard, also now the collection of new parts.

I just started playing about a month or 2 ago. I’m at lvl 6 with Steppenwolf after getting the 3 base factions to 6 for crafting. I have a few rides over 6k.
Same here. Whether it’s pay to win or not, it’s a nice refresher of a game. FPS are getting boring
the big problem for new players (who probably play alone) is facing those who play in groups on these low PS

Do you have access to a console? It’s a bit harder on there cause we don’t get the free packs which means we miss out on that quick jump of the part limits and also a lot of those structural parts

I just started but it’s a FRESH experience. I miss Twisted Metal and this is great. I’m only a hour in. I think I’m playing against ai, hopefully it’ll get deeper and play against some players. This game needs support, it deserves it. I get tired of the same military shooters.
Agreed but that awful monetization will hurt them in the end idk why they cant do like any other f2p and make it with cosmetics or boosters for items or exp.

you might like robocraft. That game was so much fun back in the day just being a 1x1 helium cube with a giant sniper and being this tiny AC130 of the sky... This was back in 2012 though.

no free packs, very high market costs, low in players so more veterans, and p2w. The worse are the p2w teamers vs solos.
if you keep your power score running at the *500 score, it keeps the ps close in lower ps battles
JB, question. When I click one of the links for the bonus codes, it will give me the code, then install a launcher. I usually run the game in steam, so when I open crossout on steam the pack is never there. The promocodes work fine though. Do I need to open the game via the launcher it installs or am i doing something wrong?

you can have both version on your pc. one from steam and one from the launcher if you use the launcher the codes work just like if you buy a pack on steam and use the launcher you won't see the pack unless you play from steam your progress does stay synced so no worries there.
Yea hover in low ps are basically impossible to beat they definitely need to be restricted to atleast 5k+ like you said
its crazy how crazy op hovers can be while somehow being low ps, even 9k
@@shawnfoogle920 yeah think the only way to balance them is to drastically increase their PS. i can take out some of them with my cannon builds around 9k but anything before that they just demolish lobbies. they already fixed the meatgrinders at 5k being a problem
I signed in and am playing through steam. When I click the links it says redeemed but nothing shows up in my garage.
i did something similar a year or 2 ago and streamed it. i cant imagine how hard it would be rn without the weeklys.

The devs should add powerscore limits to weapons and movement parts like only 6 or 7k your able to use epic parts and only over 10 or 11k for legendary parts for example
They must do some rework on pvp macht making like if you have build that ist someting around 3-3.5k you can use only rare and comune part and like 4-4.5k you can use comune-rare-superrare part and so until you arive you can use all rarity in the game like build score sistem that not allow to use highes rarity item in lower powerscore

I hope nobody noticed that slip, JB. But yeah... It's kind of insane for newbies. There should be rules to play under 5 k PS:
- no hovers allowed
- no legendary parts
And also people should use common sense and morality and stop sealclubbing to feel good about themselves.
I agree a good rule would be no high tier stuff below 5 k because you might have no armor but you can make some crazy scary builds

Yes, please continue making videos with this account. This game is amazing, but it's also difficult for newer players to catch on to everything that veteran players know, leaving the playing field uneven at lower power scores where everyone can play, regardless of experience.
When you get in higher ps with goblins the guns people obtain simply shoot them off like paper you need to find the balance
I suggest they solve the issue of hovers at 4k by combining the build ps with the personal lvl....0-5...5-10...just make brackets...up to ayer lvl 30 or 40 cause by then you should be able to have sorted your stuff and be experienced enough to be able to compete!...great vid JB!!....thanks for sharing and keep it up!
What happened to the engineer level 1-10 matchmaking pool? It used to be a hard matchmaking rule that you only saw other engineer 1-10 players. Maybe the packs kick you out of that pool ?
nah thing that rule no longer applies I think since the player base is so small after lvl8 I got put against real players no matte what they had

It’s funny how it isn’t even really the developers fault. It’s our fault, all those seal club builds. That’s on us, the community, we drive away new players for a cheap win. The devs have to advertise patrol mode more to new players so they know there is an escape from the carnage.
This is just a bad way of thinking, balancing is a dev’s responsibility and that includes stopping such behavior or at least reducing its effectiveness.
The devs cannot possibly account for every aspect of player behavior. On one hand I agree with your sentiment, but on the other hand I believe we, the community, also play a role. Toxic behavior and exploiting cheese mechanics drive players away. We can’t put everything on the developers we must take some responsibility as well.
The devs made scrap exceptionally more expensive and harder to get. Also they could just cap certain weapon types from low power scores to make the new player experience better. (Example: up to 5000, no weapons higher than light blue).
I'm lvl 25 so been playing a while but had a big brake for a few years. I have got back in to it and brought some crown coins to buy discount packs. What would you recommend I buy. Also with the coins with the packs what would you say I sould save for or buy. I play around 2500ps to 5000ps anymore then that I get destroyed
the Catalina pack goes on sale a lot that is the best one to get. not to familiar with 5 k but i know melee builds and tusk builds are pesky there

Hovers would be fixed if they had a nerf applied to them when in low ps, like lower top speed and higher cabin power penalty
They should definitely loosen the grind and add more support for newer players. The fact you make 8 ish coins in a hard raid (that mind you takes 10k+ coin builds to not be carried in) is absurd.

Hello how are you ? , well I'm watching your videos and they are amazing and I learn a lot about the game with them , I'm playing on xbox and unfortunately it is not possible to redeem these packages for free that you redeem so the start is much slower without these parts , I I just went to 4000 feet today after a few days playing

New? I recommend 2499 Rapier auto cannons. Long range. Stay Low ps anyways.
+ try to fused your low tier stuff since you will be grinding with it for awhile. And fuel is a must.
And always look into weapons and equipment to see whats meta or the best choice, not fun to grind for something and its almost useless.
If you cant afford to spend a cent its a long grind. Best value are the main battlepass.
( i don't like the shorter BP's because it feels like its less value )
I played for 3-4 years. I bought one BP, polar lights. Daily \ weekly challenges done 90% of the time, tho sometimes i barely played pvp because it was rough and I play other games too.

I played the game awhile ago, apparently they reset the account so when I got back Into it. My account was reset and I didnt get “birth of a legend”
Try to do this playing the steam version (there are 4 free sets and a lot of legendary decor in the battle pass for beginners)

When I first started playing I was thrilled at the concept of the game but very quickly disappointed at the lack of ability to build as I truly wanted.... yes, I bought every pack I could.
It sucks I’m a new player and I can’t claim the free packs because I had an old account and it used the same email as my Steam account but I don’t want to use that old account because back then I thought it was a good idea to sell everything and keep the one vehicle I had but whenever I try to login to my Steam account it automatically signed me in to my old shitty account and there’s nothing I can do about it because it just auto fills as soon as I go to type in my email does anybody know how to fix it
Pls jb keep on with this account but one thing to note you will need one week of furious grinding to get out of 4k cuz soon you will meet peircer builds omomories leggs its painfull tbh but your friend is the sledge hamer and fuse your rare radiators and coolers for better efficacy

It is very complicated for new players, it is normal for you to play in 4k-5k leagues, it is normal for you to run into melee, shotgunners, drone g@ys, etc.

I played this game on Xbox in 2017-ish? I don't fully remember but I think the newest edition before I stopped playing was the hover craft parts, it was fun back then but i recently hopped back in on pc now and after 6 matched I only ever ran into one other player on my team, all bots. Did the game lose interest or I'd it something on my end?
A good start would be that codrivers dont want to sit in low ps cars, adds some personality too, maybe with different PS starts, jay wants 4k PS minimum, grizzly 5k PS, Juki 6k PS, Falcon 6k,. a.s.o..

Yes, but if you buy the pack on steam you have to play the game using steam otherwise it won't register the pack. A trick the whales use is they buy the packs of the website first and then buy it again on steam so you can have the same pack twice. sometimes packs are on sale so you can use that trick. it does not work if you buy it on steam first though
even at 2k+ there is a bot that is hover bus,weapon changes about 1.6k, but has that engineer blue cab everytime exposed.
To fix it i would say, just remove the "defete" sign untill you reach level 10, 20 or 30 and only show the mission and reseaved xp
You have to take into consideration that you come with this new account with an informed veteran mind over it too. For exemple, when i started i was totaly unaware of thoses promo packs and stuff and my account was too old when i figured it out to be able to claim any of them while i could oviousely still had a use of them.
What i mean is that as a veteran you know that any new account can claim all that stuff and do efficent builds with them from the first hour they play the game. But any actual new player playing the game for the first time do not have that knowledge, do not claim thoses free packs as he can't see anywhere the game telling him he's eligible for them or even that those actualy exist. And he will play with crappy docker or huntman cabin build equipped with chords or avenger and medium wheels who's not exceeding 2500 power score for at least one big month to proceed the crafting system and end start grabbing blue stuff... Unless a veteran brougth him to crossout, teached him, and formed him to efficient building, he will never have a 3k functionnal and kind of competitive vehicle before at least 2 months of playing.
By learning from our own experience we all start dumb and proceed to upgrade from little steps...
Anyway, that playthrough is still very interresting and could lead some actual new player to have a better start than most other. So continuing that as a serie could be a really cool project and i suggest you to continue it as long as you have fun with it too :)
