The story behind that lady who said a dingo ate her baby is incredibly sad. She went from being a happy housewife and mother of 2 to a pariah who was convicted of murdering her own daughter with absolutely no evidence, just speculation. She spent 4 years in jail until a piece of infant-sized clothing (that she had been saying that she always dressed her daughter in) was found by accident in a dingo den. Plus, new evidence about the behavior of dingo showed that they may attack people and that they are more dexterous than previously thought helped to overturn the case. She lost so much with that incident and still tries to help people by telling her experience.

Dingo's won't even think about going near you if you're 5"8 or above. It's mostly kids and short people who dingo's end up attacking, and it's mostly on K'gari Island where they are pretty habituated to humans as well.
In our house, hampers are for dirty clothes, baskets are for clean clothes. That way, stuff gets washed properly, and there’s no confusion about whether it’s clean or dirty

Just for context, the guy in red did put the cayote in a trash bin, because it tried attacking his little dog. He just yoinked it by the tail like a madman to save his pup, which you can see for a little bit behind him. Don't worry, he did call animal services afterwards and the cayote was relocated.

I'm with chavez regarding the basket, If there's only one basket and it has a specific purpose (like storing dirty clothes, waiting to be washed), putting other clothes that do no belong there (clean and sorted, for example) causes confusion. The clean sorted clothes go on a clean in-the-way surface (like the kitchen table), till you get annoyed enough at them so you put them in the closet 💪
nah clothes baskets are for dirty clothes waiting to go to the washer cuz its either full or there isnt enough dirty clothes for a load of laundry

Personally i only consider the Black-backed jackal and Side-striped jackal of the genus Lupulella from Africa to be jackals. The Golden "jackal" that's of the Genus Canis, same as the Ethiopian wolf, African wolf, Grey wolf etc, i call them Golden jackal-wolf, to part them from the African jackals of the genus Lupulella that they aren't all that closely related to. In the early days the (Coyote) Prairie wolf (Canis latrans) was call the American jackal.

My laundry method is simple. I only own about two and a half loads of laundry, and I have house clothes I change into after I shower after work each day. Maybe I have two or three house clothes outfits per week. I put all the laundry in a half sized hamper, wash it, dry it, wipe out the hamper with a lysol wipe, and put that singular load of clean clothes back into the same basket it came from, and take it upstairs where hopefully I fold it. If not, it ends up in a sad depression pile, and the hamper goes back in the bathroom.
Nah I'm with Chavezz, clothes baskets are meant to transport clothes not store them.

Jackals are basically Coyotes (they fill the same/similar niche) but in the Old World, so Africa, Europe and Asia, Coyotes are only found in North America by contrast

Baskets are for putting dirty clothes or transporting a lot of clothes, you don't use it to store clean ones, that's what your dresser and or closet is for, she was sick and made a silly decision because of it, if anything she's playing the victim
