Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world.

This movie was great, but John Mulaney as Spider-Ham and Nicholas Cage as Noir Spiderman made this movie extra special.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller weren't fired from Star Wars Solo due to creative differences, they were fired for just being creative.
It’s because the spider mech was built by Peni Parker’s dead father, and it’s the last thing she had to remember him. That’s why Peni starts crying when it’s destroyed, even though the pet/friend spider inside survived. She can rebuild the mech, but she can never have that specific suit her father built for her ever again.

Tony! If you rewatch Spider-Man 3, watch the “Spider-Man 3.1” version, it has deleted and different scenes, I feel it makes the film a lot better

Kieran is by far the best of the HTM crew
If I remember right, Peni's dad made that robot or something, that's why it's sad. Plus she's been stripped of her whole thing at that moment, she can't fight without the robot.
Kieren is the only person on this channel I know I'd have fun chilling with. Seems like such a genuine good dude.

Have you guys ever watched The Venture Bros? If not I definitely recommend it and would love to hear your thoughts on it.
There is like 8 seasons of The Venture Bros. I love the show, but it would be hard to have everyone watch all that footage, then review it in about 60-90 minutes. I'd watch it, but I don't think it's feasible.

There is a rip in the HACK THE MOVIES universe. Spider-Tony, Spider-Crystal, Johanna Parker w/ mech spider, Noir Spider-Newt, and Spider-Justin must stop Doc Oct Trisha and Kingpin Kieran.
I actually really loved Peni Parker she was clearly heavily inspired by the pilots in Evangelion with the connections to the mechs. If they make a sequel I hope they have a multiverse with the symbioses coming into play.
An hour to premiere... I have a fever and the only cure is more Tony!

2018 was an intresting year for Spiderman. The PS4 game came out, Venom came out, Into The Spider-Verse came out, and Infinity War killed Spiderman.

The Spider-Man 3 Editor's Cut which was on the most recent boxset is really good. Adds greats Sandman stuff and takes out the butler scene, and also rearranges scenes in the original script order.

The whole bit about Spider-Man giving birth to himself was all part of the story arcs written by J Michael straczynski. This whole concept that he had was that Spider-Man by getting bit was actually part of the totem spider, and he hinted that some Cosmic mystery surrounding it. Spider-Man does what he does because he gets attacked by an entity that is basically a spider swarm, and then puts himself into a cocoon to heal himself. When he rips out of the Cocoon, he now has the organic spinners. I think his spidey sense was also enhanced but I could be wrong.
Unfortunately that entire run was constantly being meddled with by Quesada. Thanks to him, the story arc included the idea that Norman Osborn had an affair with Gwen Stacy, and that as a result there were twins produced that have been trained since birth to kill Spider-Man. It also ended with the infamous one more day, where's Spider-Man undoes his marriage to Satan to give his geriatric and another couple of weeks of life.
The meddling was so bad that J Michael straczynski tried several times to get his name taken off of the comic.
I think the only thing that survived out of that whole ordeal was the concept of Morlun and his family, who hunts down spider totems and devour them. The comic story that was the inspiration for this movie in some ways as better and in some ways is worse. It's better in that incorporates every single variant of Spiderman ever met, and more directly than this movie states that the original Spider-Man is the one married to Mary Jane in defiance of editorial Mandate. On the other hand, much of it is really goofy moments and memes. Such as when they go to the old animated Spider-Man universe, or when they are in the newspaper universe and the villain is going insane because it takes weeks for somebody to finish our conversation.
I think the movie did it better and more seriously, even with spider ham, but unlike you guys I just can't get comfortable with the kingpins design. If he looked that way because he was from another reality where everybody was designed along that line, I would have been okay with it. But he's in a universe where everybody looks realistic and proportional.

I love this version of Miles Morales, as opposed the version from the ultimate comics which was kinda just Peter parker but white, I genuinely enjoy that he is distinct from the original Spider-Man
from what I remember, Lord and Miller were fired from Solo because it was more of a comedy than Lucasfilm wanted

I love the original concept of him learning to use his powers realizing the powers came from a spider and saying hay I'm a biology student ahead of his class, if I'm spider man let me own the persona and he went to work on making a chemical compound of his own. Which got the attention of Reed Richard's the smarter human in the solar system not the planet the solar system to take notice.
Peter Parker isn't just a kid that got a gift of spider abilities he is a gifted mind a really smart person that got the powers to build a responsible hero.
Peter isn't just a lucky person with powers he was a gifted integent kid that got tossed into a stressful situation. That's why he's my favorite super hero. He can keep up with Tony stark , Bruce Banner Hank pym and Reed Richard's, but he is a kid gifted with unimaginable powers.
So what'd Kieran think of the Spider-Man 2099 Post Credits jawn?
