    They are good looking lights and work well but they should come with their own white locking mechanism mine broke from the oem set and the new lights broke tryna fit the oem plastic locking mechanism on them... I'm returning mine but its a shame you can't have the locking mechanism on them when they come.
    You can buy a 30dallar oem style set that comes with them on but these cost well over two hundred dollars and your breaking parts off your old lights to put them on...
    They would be great lights other than that.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Před 2 lety

      This isn't something we stock or would really be able to stock, there are so many individual clip sizes for every different vehicle we carry these fog lights for.
      I see what you mean, I understand you, it just wouldn't be feasible when an auto parts store down the road has them for a few bucks, and you can already select your exact make so the clips will match up.

      @Anthony Sayre i can't remember the best way i can tell you is cut off your headlights and just have fogs on or place cardboard over the headlights if you can't shut them off without the fogs off also turn the adjustment nut to see what direction it moves the beam i would recommend doing this either at night or low light area as during the day or high lighting areas it's very hard to see how the light beam is

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Před 4 lety

      These fog lights have built-in LED chips which cannot be replaced. If the light output isn't great, it's highly likely that they are aimed incorrectly. Aiming fog lights is very similar to aiming headlights, here's a video we made on how to properly aim headlights : czcams.com/video/uz0yRCyTP2w/video.html

      Most of your fog lights on numerous vehicles doesn't have a plastic lens to protect the bulbs or housing if that's your only complaint i would say don't buy them or you could send your factory fogs to a retrofit shop and have them do a LED's or HID'S setup but I'm sure it would cost more

      Kevin, we try to put together videos enough to show a lot of products on a lot of vehicles and sometimes we run out of time doing every test imaginable. I think a person can always do more, and we try to create a good mix of useful info + good variety. We'll try to do more real world testing in the future.
      One of the reasons we think it's acceptable to show the light comparison on the wall only is that if the new light is better on the wall, then obviously it will be better on the road also.
      Thanks for watching.
