Watching trains on your layout is always fun! The modern Train with all the fantastically weathered rolling stock was a special treat! Most of it looked like Gavin's work. Really enjoyed this episode! Thank you so much Mike!
Mike Fantastic video. It was great to see the rolling stock as previously mentioned, the weathering and graffiti are well displayed! I also like the tank farm that shows a heavily weathered, moderately weathered and a brand-new tank. I don't know why I missed that aspect from your past videos. Again, Mike thanks keep up the good work hope things with health are going better. God Bless
Great video Mike! I was wondering about the modern train with the graffitied cars and caboose… don’t usually see you running these! Thanks for posting, cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Mike, I think I've been watching to many 0 gauge layouts running. 9 times outta ten their trains are always flying around the layouts. Your scale speed seems kinda slow, but I enjoyed it! 😊 😎
Mike, how do you clean all that hidden track? I'm thinking of putting train staging on a semi-hidden lower level of my own (forthcoming) Horny Toad division ATSF layout, and this is something I've worried a bit about. Nicely weathered modern train, btw! Is that your work or Gavin's? It is so well done it kind of makes me wish there was at least a bit of graffiti like that during the early 40's (I've never seen an example of it that early).
How do you determine if a train has a caboose or not? To me a train is not complete without one it's a phobia I have so sue me anyway the layout is looking awesome
Thanks for a great series. I have learned a lot for you. How do you light that caboose? Do you ever run switching operations? If so, what scheme do you use. Keep up the great work.
Thanks . The caboose ligts are from Richmond Control and expensive. I do not care for switching and if I do it , it is all in my head and or verbal to someone. Thanks , Mike

Great video Mike! I was wondering about the modern train with the graffitied cars and caboose… don’t usually see you running these! Thanks for posting, cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
That caboose is actually considered (by BNSF) as a Shoving Car or Riding Platform
Looks great!!!
Thank You Sir

Actually that was about 40 MPH in scale ( by my speedo)
Fun!
Just put a set of hinges there and make a door. Nothing left to mess with.

I clean all track with two CMXN track cleaning cars. They are no longer available. I did the two locos and Gavin did the cars (years ago).
Mike, is your next step to do an Operations Session? Layout is really looking great.
I hate operations. reminds me of work!!
How do you determine if a train has a caboose or not? To me a train is not complete without one it's a phobia I have so sue me anyway the layout is looking awesome
The modern train should have had a flashing Fred on the back but the battery was dead.
If possible, paint and ground cover with plexiglass removable, for a tunnel visual scene
Thought you might put a hinge on that section and just open up like a door.
Nope , No room to swing it with pics on the wall

Hey Mike it's your railroad run whatever you like, if you really want to mess with people run a CP engine
We just bought 2 CP unit at the club !!
Question: Do you add any weights into the cars, to help keep them on the tracks?
Yes I usually wheight to NMRA standards.
Mike
