I've been struggling with a alcoholic parent and it's made me kinda depressed. I want to train and get motivated but I just can't seem to find it
Take it day by day and as cliche as it sounds it gets better..trust me on that one. Chase your dreams dawg you got one life make it a good one
I'm not sure how old you are but you don't want to wake up one day mid 30s full of regret. Try it out. The worst thing that can happen is you find it's not for you but at least there is closure in knowing that. Its better having tried and know than not trying and wondering what if
Make sure your vit D levels are good. If you live in a cloudy / cold area take vit D supplements. Made a huge difference for me. Get exercise: fighting, weight lifting idc if it is tennis but any activity helps. It also helps stay away from alcohol drugs etc. Lastly save money and invest. Buy normal stocks, nothing too risky and see the money go up. If you have enough buy a house etc. When you see the financial become better you will be even happier.

Also, a few rules help wrestlers big time, laying on someone and doing nothing hoping to tire the opponent and "controling the fight" just ruining the fight, being safe of 12-6 elbow is a nice thing to...and so on.
