My first encounter with the USP was during my military career. We were outside of Vegas at an arms demo from various vendors. Many companies were there with a selection of firearms for testing. The HK rep had literature and manuals on the table, but no firearms. Didn’t seem to be well represented. We were wrong! When we asked when his firearms would be available for hands on demonstration, he replied “right now.” We were puzzled until he began kicking them out of the sand and dirt. .45 ACP USPs. Zero misfires ….guess what we chose?
My favorite handguns? HK VP9 and HK 45C. I don't think I'm an HK snob but they are the pair I gravitate toward for home safety or travel. There's a comfort in knowing how rugged they are built and the reliability they possess. Nice looking guns too.
I am a USP believer as well. And I have owned around 100 different hand guns. Still have a 45 Tactical and 9mm full size. Regret having sold the 9mm compact.
good video, have the usp compact 9mm myself what also strikes me is that they are not so dirty after 100 rounds or more compared to all the other pistols that I've had
I occasionally switch my EDC between a P2000sk 9mm and USP COMPACT 40 S&W. great guns. waiting to see if HK releases their new SFP9CC here in the states.
This gun will shoot ammo, without malfunction, with any casing -- aluminum, brass, or steel; in my experience. Which for me, is a plus because I can shoot the ammo I find.
Probably because they destroy the mags over time I the fullsize 9mm and .40 USPs since they're plastic. I only use them in my metal mag USPs and P2000s. I love them in both my USP45s and P2000s.
Love my USP expert, but the P99 is the superior German 90s compact handgun. It is extremely similar in many ways but I love the long paddle release, the adjustable sights and the amazing trigger in the AS model. Paddle release is absolutely superior, I was doing a pistol class with my P99 and the instructor came over to see what I was doing with my mag changes because they were so damn fast; I may not have been the best shooter there, but I could reload in almost half the time of everyone else.
Always hating on the .40 S&W… I suppose we are to forget the fact that inadequacies and failure with the 9mm and .38 special (real or imagined) led to the eventual development of the .40S&W. It wasn’t the other way around. Short and weak? That’s relative to what you are comparing it to, but… ok. 😂 Enjoy your 9s.
The only reason 9mm got big is because its cheap the same reason the military started using it i got the 40 usp because thats what it was built for... Before the 9mm fanboys freak out 9mm is still an effective round but theres nothing amazing about it just like the 40

1. The USP is a very good weapon. 2. The .40 Caliber USP is the original and .40 caliber is superior to 9mm period, I do not care what any you tube geniuses say, .40 caliber is a more effective round, period the end. 3. There is absolutely nothing wrong with 9mm either. 4. Glock pistols are just as reliable if not more than the HK's and just as durable and much lighter and hold more rounds and cost half to own and shoot. I put HK as 2nd in desirability in the sidearm spectrum but it is a close second. You have a nice collection of USP 9's.
I was wondering if anyone would reply to the ‘short & weak’ comment. That whole thing has been disproven so many times I wonder why people keep saying it.
@@fanman8102 because it is human nature to be argumentative. There are far too many people that pick a caliber and don't see the value of all calibers. Every single one has its place. I haven't played with 40 in quite a while. As pretty much all my handguns are chambered in 9mm because it is less expensive and easier to find. I had an opportunity to buy a used USP9 a few months back for around the $800 price point and decided against it, even though the USP doesn't pop up much in local stores. Same store just had a used USP in 40 for $450, so I absolutely grabbed it. Gonna get a feel for her this morning.
Just my two pennies worth. Some of comments you make aren’t based on facts. According to SAAMI specs. The 9mm Luger and the 40. S&W operate at the same pressure. Obviously the. 40S&W, being a 40. Cal can take much heavier bullets. I disagree that the 40S&W serves no purpose. If you study ballistics, it becomes clear that no 9mm load can top the 40. You get similar ballistics to the venerable 45 ACP. in a 9mm pistol frame size. As far as the pistol, I think the H&K USP is fine weapon but is it really superior to say the Glock? Especially at the price.
*Strokes PDP softly*
"It's ok, your my favorite German"
Strokes German Luger
The descale it to 9mm change the slide and some parts ????the only thing to change is the barrel

God damn what a flex 😂 That's a great story. What time period? Mid 90's?
I prefer the steel mags the 45 has to offer.
How dare you display these fine handguns on a Glock mat.
HK USP are my favorite modern pistol!!!! HK rules!!!!
My favorite handguns? HK VP9 and HK 45C. I don't think I'm an HK snob but they are the pair I gravitate toward for home safety or travel. There's a comfort in knowing how rugged they are built and the reliability they possess. Nice looking guns too.
I have 1 of my USP45T’s setup for night vision. 1 with white light only and 1 for carry without a light. Sick setups.
I am a USP believer as well. And I have owned around 100 different hand guns. Still have a 45 Tactical and 9mm full size. Regret having sold the 9mm compact.
I have a HK USP from 2012 I still have it today you're right it's the best handgun on the market.
good video, have the usp compact 9mm myself
what also strikes me is that they are not so dirty after 100 rounds or more compared to all the other pistols that I've had
I agree! I own a 45acp HK USP Elite and two 9mm HK USP handguns. They are the best for me.
I hope we all live to see 2079 because HKs date code lookup will be HK❤❤❤
Got four, two .45s(Elite and Standard) and two .40s(Standard and Standard Stainless). Plan to get either an Expert, Tactical or Compact in 9mm next.
USP prices are ridiculous right now unless you want a used 40 cal, which seem to be the most obtainable right now price wise
And I’m buying every one I can!!!!
They are collectible guns at this point especially the 45 tactical
waiting to grab a LNIB stainless two tone usp compact 40 in California off roster for 1100
I occasionally switch my EDC between a P2000sk 9mm and USP COMPACT 40 S&W. great guns.
waiting to see if HK releases their new SFP9CC here in the states.
my p30sk is my current edc and favorite gun. Im wondering if the usp compact 40 feels similar or not?
How much did you end up paying for your usp 9 tactical I don’t see them often and believe they are pretty rare ?
This makes me love my mark 23 that much more hehe
Same here. The 23 is the best. Period. Superior German engineering and quality.
Pretty sad you're disrespecting them by laying them on a Glock mat...
The Glock mat is calling the Usp Perfection
This gun will shoot ammo, without malfunction, with any casing -- aluminum, brass, or steel; in my experience. Which for me, is a plus because I can shoot the ammo I find.
9mm full size in Bi-tone.. thats pretty hard to find.
That is a sick USP collection.
I love Sigs, but would really like to have a HK in 40 S&W.
Your right about the usp being the best but these are all in 9mm lol cant have a usp without having any in .45 😎
it's a catchy addiction. i have:
USP .40
P2000 .40 (carry gun)
P30L .40
HK .45
You have a damn good collection!
They make a usp 45, compact and a compact tactical CT rollmark
P30 ran over 90k+ round without a major stoppage
All you need to know is that the USP45 places on the podium for end of the world.
These pistols are the best in the world.
but which USP is best USP?
What did you use to paint the markings
Lacquer stick
Nice video except for your comments on the 40sw which has higher fp energy and greater inertia (Taylor kd factor) than a 9mm.
Which one would you keep if you only could have one for the apocalypse?
For me the tactical version better trigger
Mk23 lol if not, than the usp9c 100%
@contingencyibct3120 will you need it though?
No extended magazine release on any of them?!?
Probably because they destroy the mags over time I the fullsize 9mm and .40 USPs since they're plastic.
I only use them in my metal mag USPs and P2000s. I love them in both my USP45s and P2000s.
Great vid, subscribed
I'd like to shoot hard cast ammo for woods purposes. Can you shoot hard cast ammo through the usp 40 or the usp 45?
Did I just find someone with more USP’s than myself? I have 3 USP45T’s
Exactly what every one sle is quoting ab out HK guns :))
Your title states that “The HK USP is the Best” but at the beginning of the video you say that the HK USP is one of the best.
The title of this video should be “The 9mm HK USP is the Best” not “The HK USP is the Best” because you only show 9mm.
The P7 is still the best.

Ya had me right up to the time you did a safety check on every pistol...ugh

I love my usp’s but I’ve had more luck with my glocks
All good points. But when it comes.to.accuracy, my USP Tactical 9mm beats my Glock 17. By a lot. Same with my Mk. 23 vs. my Glock 21.
I was wondering if anyone would reply to the ‘short & weak’ comment. That whole thing has been disproven so many times I wonder why people keep saying it.

im so much more accurate with the hk p2ksk .40 than 9mm g26
This may be controversial what I’m about to say and get me a lot of hate and or possibly banned but Glock for the win.

a Glock really doesn't even compare.
Overpriced, outdated ,overrated and crap triggers.
Sad to see that nail polish on a man’s gun
They didn’t lodge a round in the barrel that will blow the breach or barrel!!!!! The put a rubber round in the barrel
