How can you not love Tai Tuivasa? The guy has to be the most likeable fighter in combat sports
Just another half ass heavyweight. The one division where being in peak athletic condition and peak technique are few and far between. Thank God for ciryl gane, a true representation of a professional heavyweight. Great conditioning and beautiful technique. Not just another fat slob with no skills besides landing a bomb. He's like Jared cannonier before he started taking his career serious. Btw Cannonier started as a slob heavyweight, now fights at middleweight with impeccable conditioning/diet/training. I'm not here to fall in love with a fat man drinking beer out of shoes, im looking for the best fights on the planet. If you are only 6'2 and have to cut weight for HEAVYWEIGHT, you are fat and sloppy🍔🍔🍔🍔. No diet, no cardio, gets blackout drunk regularly=half ass. This response is directly to your question "how can you not love tai tuivasa?".....I like the guy, just hope he becomes a professional at some point

@@thirstface what's crazier is that's exactly how it is in criminal courts too. Had my charges changed when I was in the system and it went very bad for me for a long time. Was an eye opener to how I saw the world and the people... Everyone is worth a closer look

Sadly it's true. Dana has a stranglehold on the mma media. If you ask any hard questions or don't play by his rules he will make sure you or your team don't get into big events and press conferences.
Yeah, pretty tough to ask hard-hitting questions when Dana and managers have so much control over access. Some still do it though
Yeah a lot of the more interesting interview questiond aren't done at the events anymore, always have to go to the source to find good insight into the fighters - a lot of fighters seem boring if they don't have over the top charisma but they are people who fight for a living - so many of my favourite fighters have done good interesting interviews that doesn't go to the events and they are insanely awesome people
@@MADDOGLIAM97 totally, that's why I love speaking with fighters not under contract anymore. They speak much more freely about the trials and tribulations of the sport. Had one of my favorite conversations ever with Gray Maynard a few weeks ago. Didn't get the views that an active fighter interview would get, but he had some remarkable things to say.
Yeah those are made from ufc promoters which of course Ariel doesn't belongs he is one of the very few to cover the sport unbiased and he actually talks about the unpopular stuff

Im probably the only one but I'll say it anyways, GC really grew on me, I like the chemistry between you two, i like his "casual" POV, like the fact he took Bahamondes KO in the prelims but didnt knew that Invicta was an all female organisation lol. Sometimes it's refreshing to have different opinions and talk about the reasons behind it. Im not even into bettings/gambling at all and i enjoy his segment a lot. I see people hating on him in the comments a lot so I thought he should know since i think he reads them sometimes, you're appreciated man and i love the sense of humour that you bring to the show

It’s nice to see some people responding without the negativity stemmed from the first comment. I suppose it was just an Ariel fan trying to promote his favorite MMA journalist! Anyhow, I watch both Ariel and Brendan’s content. I really enjoy Shaub’s Podcast with Brian Calen. They barely speak about mma but I still enjoy the podcasts. Both are great imo!
Listen you add everything up he's got just as many views as ariel has subscribers so it's pretty even.
